I'm considering parting out my 99 gt hatch due to a car accident. Just curious if it will be worth my time to part it out or sell it to the insurance company. Doors and interior panels are fine.(except driver trunk) Leather seats, header, etc.. Pm or post your offers, princing or interest.

That looks like a nasty accident. Its a shame, but the car is definately totaled. I would be worth parting it out I would say, unless you want less hassle, then just let the insurance buy it off you.

No injuries. Not even whip lash. Went to the gym afterwards. lol. I just left my house and was sitting in traffic on elston. Guy from behind just drove straight into me. Still mad about it.

Yup. $2 a gallon if interested. lol Back seats are in great shape. Passenger is good with minimal wear and tear. Driver side is ok with normal driver side wear and tear. The side is ripped like most celicas.

Interested in the motor and trans assembly as a whole. I dont really have an offer. What would you want to get out of it? Also interested in the wheels. All would be local pick up since I can drive the distance.

New to the forum, but I will still be on here for a while. You can PM me. Wanting everything to swap into a ST. So harness and all.

Possible on whole car price?

You have to take parts off and put up prices for them.
I mean you can easily get $100ish for the side skirts. The leather seats are rare has heck too!
Do you have the 6 or 8 speaker system in the car? Difference is the door panels. One has two speakers and the other has 3, that's also pretty rare!

I would definitely try to sell the doors too, those look rust free. Definitely not common up north. I would take both if I lived closer :'(
and the fender too, i would take that since it looks mint.. ugh....

I would take everything apart and post pics, but the car is 50 miles away, its freezing, and dont have a spot for it to sit for the time being. It has a 6 speaker system with infinty kappas installed. Door panels are in great shape.

i need a couple of small parts..

2 hanger clips that keep tray in place.

1 metal bolt and cup for the spare tire (holder bolt)

3 clips that keep the rear plastic panel (covers head light) not the clips to take headlights off, but the ones keeep panel on

4 clips that hold the carpet attached to the seats to the body of the car....

I just found a low mileage 95 GT Auto, that needs a head gasket here in Michigan, if you just want one you could swap parts over to. The guy is asking 850 http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/4310059772.html he sent me this pic,.

You guys, we need to talk him out of letting insurance take the car! He said they wanted $600 for it, but I think he could easily make that back, with some money on top too if he parted it out!
