What I can't believe is that you bought the motor without looking at all of the aforementioned links and threads posted by these fine gentlemen.
Now lets play a game *How to know if you can do the awd swap* 1) Can you weld or do you have a really really good friend who can and owns all equipment? if yes, go to #2, if no, don't do it. 2)Do you have a garage where the car can remain for many weeks out of the elements? if yes, go to #3, if no, don't do it. 3) do you have another 5000$ on top of what you have already spent in the bank? if yes, go to #4, if no, don't do it. 4) are you willing to accept that your $3000 car in operating order, even though you've put in 10k in work, will only be worth 5-6k$ when done? if yes, got to #5, if no. don't do it 5) have you read the above threads and are you able to fully understand the level of work that goes into this? If yes, go to #6, if no, don't do it. 6) are your dreams of AWD and turbo charged fueled by thoughts of beating trains in the quarter, smoking Ferrari's, and getting parts overnight from Harry? If yes, DON'T do it. If no, go to #7 7) You've made it this far and are apparently a well funded, single man with a lot of time and solid skill set who can appreciate and see the value in the final product for more than its monetary prowess. Maturity and patience run deep in you. In order to complete the awd swap however there is still one thing you need to do for you to be successful... learn to press SEARCH more and ADD REPLY less... but please feel free to ask questions if unclear as we all start learning somewhere. best of luck Edit: I am doing the RHD conversion right now with a BEAMS. There are only a few on here who have attempted it. Mine should be one of the more well documented cases. I'm cutting firewalls soon and I'm telling you.... it isn't a walk in the park. must have time, $ and skillzzzzz. Not to say mine are great, but in what I don't know, I have a lot of help otherwise.
