Okay here it goes... I've been laying low for a long time researching, learning and trying to get my swap compete. I am no mechanic and I have zero help. I tried very hard to search and figure everything out for myself but I can't find what I'm looking for. It's been years unfortunately and I need to finish up. Can someone please help me out with these last few things so I can get my baby on the streets once again? I have a 3rd generation 3sgte with a fmic installed and aftermarket bov. My question is exactly where is the best place to tap into for my bov (near the throttlebody) and also for the external wastegate? Pictures would really help. I'm having trouble posting pics from my phone. Thank you

Would pics from my stock '94 GT-Four help? I can grab you some pics over the next few days when I get off work.

I'm having trouble rerouting for an after market bov and wastegate (like where to tap into for pressure lines or vacuum ) but any detailed pics should help. Thank you

wastegate comes from a pressure source as close to turbo as possible

bov comes from manifold vacuum, find a spare port on your manifold if not available tee it

I'm really not sure you should be working on this yourself if you're confused by such simple common sense concepts though

That's how you learn. Simple as that. I did as you mentioned just wanted confirmation. Seems like I have that part done. Thanks for chiming in.

Can someone please let me know where the second hose goes to? I know the first goes to side manifold but what about the second one?

Also what goes here? Thank you

1. aircon idle up, it's a bypass to allow extra air to get past the closed throttle , this is active while you drive when AC is on.

So logically, where do you think it goes? Hint: We wouldn't want to leak boost while on throttle.

2. main idle source port. okay ill tell you now it goes to the air filter or any atmo

if it were on its own, it could go back to a pressure source, but as it has other atmo breathing lines attached to it (ie, wastegate relief & power steering idle up on full lock) it must go back to atmo.

You need to understand why though, theres no sense in you plugging things in because some guy on the internet told you to do so

Trust me I couldn't agree more I WANT to understand what's going on with my car. So are you saying that both the idle up and the other port can be routed to the intake? That's the only thing I can think of..?

It's been a little rainy here (typical), and since my car is on stands in the garage so the lighting isn't great. Just wanted to know whether you still needed some pics? I'll get to them as soon as the sun comes out if you do need em.

Glad to have helped

Just don't judge me on the MacGyver- job on my air filter. The previous owner didn't have the proper coupling, and there was about a half-inch gap between the fitting from the filter to the intake hose. I'm probably going to replace it with an Apexi power intake soon.

Evening, I know it's been a few years since this post but I could really do with viewing those photos, yet it won't allow me too, is there anyway which these could be forwarded?

Any help would be great, not expecting a reply but hope is a great thing.

Thanks
