I am SOOOO going to do this! He heats up the blind rod in the oven and bends it around something round so that he makes his shape. Then he makes grooves to diffuse the light. I'm kinda upset I didn't think of this and make the video..lol. It's pretty amazing.

I used to want to do this. I just don't think it'll look good with the USDM frosted lenses and I like my clear high beams just as they are. If you do end up doing it, be sure to take plenty of pictures along the way since the existing how-to is pretty vague.

Forget hot-to pictures, I'm all about how-to videos..lol. I currently have about 50 videos up on youtube on random how-to stuff and other things. Your right about the frosted lens though. The light would need to be near the lens instead of around the bulb for the USDM celicas. JDM ones would probably look better since they are clear.

Yeah the thing about the JDM projectors is that they're chromed and the angel eyes wouldn't stand out as much as inside a black housing like in the video.

smkr3w used clear lenses on his USDM and put on projects and angel eyes, but he blacked out the insides and around the projector so the eyes stand out.

Hmm I was actually thinking about pulling my headlights apart to put IR LEDs inside it. That way the cops LIDAR will get jammed

thats funny. I'll have to watch the mythbusters episode on that again, but they went through nearly every way to trick the radar gun and I don't think any of them worked. I'm not sure if they did IR LEDs
