So, my Celica started like this;

And through the help of 6GC, it's now like this;

And all of the progress is on this thread. Thanks, 6GCers!

5 speed. I wouldn't have it any other way. biggrin.gif

25th anniversary edition was only the 1.8l ST's. So if yours is a 2.2l it isn't a true 25th anniversary edition.

Congratulations man, I wish you the best of luck with it. Mine is also my first.

Just keep it clean, don't rice it out, and when you see what your high school friends do with their car...just generally try not to copy it. If you take care of the engine, then you'll have a great car for a long time, and you already have a clean-looking and fresh platform to start modding from.

Good luck.

What would you recommend doing to it?

I want to get a body kit, but I lack something very important... Money.

I also was going to get a chip to increase the horsepower a tad, but I read that Celicas can't be chipped because of the override or whatever...

...So yeah. Lmao.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Aug 5, 2009 - 11:37 PM

I'd recommend you just do small, tasteful things. For example, grab yourself some dental floss and some Goo Gone and take off those badges. If you want, you can rattle can your rims black for around 50.

As far as body kits go, just stay tasteful with it...but then again, if it's what you want, then go for it.

Posted by: Nartanian Aug 5, 2009 - 11:38 PM

I think you shouldn't even bother modding it. Just enjoy the car man. If anything just do new headers with 2 1/4 piping into an Apexi or Magnaflow muffler and call it a day. Some splitters or coilovers would be sweet if funds are available, but that is as far as I would take it. Save some money and just stay on top of maintenance. That way when you get some real money then contemplate a 3sgte swap.

Posted by: 95CelicaST Aug 5, 2009 - 11:46 PM

SS-III lip kit looks great. Most people on here tend to steer clear of big body kits. Personally I feel it ruins the smooth lines.

For performance- I would suggest finding a muffler that you like and take it to a nearby exhaust shop and have them build you a catback.

If you want a big power gain you'll need to swap it (3S-GTE) or turbo your 5S-FE. All of which has been well documented on this site. Be sure to check out the parts database http://www.6gc.net/parts and find things that you like.

How much (approx) would turboing my car cost?

And would it still be street legal?

And where can I find the SS-III lip kit? Lol. :]

Posted by: 95CelicaST Aug 6, 2009 - 12:26 AM

Don't know how much it costs, as I've never owned a GT (3 ST's).

SS-III lip kits can be found in the buying/selling forum from time to time. Look up "ST202" on eBay and you'll find a bunch of goodies.

Are all of the logos on the car adhesive? Even the Toyota emblem?

I might head down to Kragen tomorrow and get some adhesive remover and some black spraypaint for the rims.

The "TOYOTA", "CELICA", and "GT" emblems are stuck on, and can be removed by using a blow dryer to heat them up for a couple minutes and then running some fishing line or dental floss behind them. After doing this a few times they'll pop off. Heat up the leftover adhiesive and rub it off, or wipe down with some Goo Gone. The large Toyota logo that is center on the hatch lid and front bumper cannot be removed, as they will leave two holes from where they were mounted. Be aware that the paint behind them will be better than the paint on the car, so you'll want to wax it as well, or else you'll still see where the emblems were.

For painting your wheels, buy some sand paper and lightly go over the wheels (take the wheels off of the car). Then after they have been cleaned well and sanded you can spray on a couple coats of primer. Once it dries you can spray them black by spraying several light coats, letting them dry fully between each coat. Pick up some note cards as well and line the rim with them so you don't get overspray on your tires.

I think I'm just going to do the emblems today. I'll do the rims when the weather gets a little better.

Welcome to the 6gC family...and the GT brotherhood. wink.gif

Like the other guys said, stay on top of your maintenance and keep her looking good. Other mods you might want to look into would be JDM tails (the Kouki ST202/ST205 tails on eBay) and maybe replacing the power antenna with a smaller S2000-esque one.

Either way, congrats on the car.

Nice car man! I miss my 98 GT! That's definitely a great first car!

Posted by: johnnehh Aug 6, 2009 - 8:56 PM

Update:
(apologies for the car being so dirty)
I took off the emblems! :]

Haven't waxed it yet. I'm going to do a complete wash and wax of the car this weekend.

And I'm also thinking about taking off the Toyota emblem and patching the holes. What's the easier way to take them off? (Front and back)

Thanks,
John

Posted by: SwissFerdi Aug 6, 2009 - 9:04 PM

I'd say leave the back on, it's clean. The front is nice when it's taken off on a black car (just look at 808celica), but I wouldn't recommend either unless you have immediate access to body filler and paint.

Huh? Where? tongue.gif

Posted by: Keiri Aug 6, 2009 - 10:26 PM

The glare on the wing in the first picture looks like smudge; I think that's what Swiss was referring to.

The de-badged car looks nice...can't wait to see the wash'n'wax shots.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Aug 6, 2009 - 11:21 PM

It does look like glare now, but it seemed like there was some sort of putty on it.

Posted by: johnnehh Aug 6, 2009 - 11:26 PM

Should I paint my rims black or white?

I don't have enough for new ones, and I'm getting bored of the look.

Any color choices are welcome. I was also looking at a bronze color. That might look nice with the black.

You guys choose. You know Celicas better than I.

laugh.gif

Posted by: Nartanian Aug 6, 2009 - 11:39 PM

I plan on painting mine black. I think gunmetal would look sweet too though.

Posted by: 95CelicaST Aug 6, 2009 - 11:40 PM

Do NOT paint your stockers white.

Gunmetal would be good, a dark bronze as well would look good.

Posted by: samir0189 Aug 7, 2009 - 9:43 AM

nice find man! Id vote for painting the wheels bronze, that looks great on a black car.

Posted by: richee3 Aug 7, 2009 - 10:34 AM

I found my car's twin! Sweet action!!!

I personally wouldn't paint the stock wheels at all. They suit the car well. It's worth it to save up and buy a different set rather than painting the stock rims. You can tell that they are factory wheels that have been painted. Instead of spending your money on making an already sexy car look better, spend it on performance. Get one of the intakes from Ebay. Perked my car up a bit. Not a LOT, but it made a difference, and it was only like $30.

Posted by: garin Aug 7, 2009 - 2:11 PM

i agree, bronze would look good... i'm guessing you're spray painting and not powder coating though.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Aug 7, 2009 - 2:33 PM

Bronze would look good, but I'm not sure it would be likeable in the long run...you know, you might get tired of it?

I say go for something in the range of gray to black.

Posted by: TiGZ461 Aug 8, 2009 - 1:18 AM

Nice ride kid, wish I had a GT model. Looks good as is, a drop an a lip kit and your set on looks, well I would consider that perfect for me.

And about the paint, I say go with the bronze. It really looks nice on black and if you get tired of it, there's always the can of paint remover so wouldn't be hard for you to repaint them another color.

I know! It got stolen out of my backpack at lunch. They didn't touch the four $20 bills sitting in the front compartment, though. Haha.

I went out and got myself a decent (better than before) camera. The pictures in the day time are gorgeous, pictures at night are garbage.

I'm gonna go on a photoshoot tomorrow with my car. smile.gif

^^Photo quality. The night time picture quality is definitely better than my old camera, but not great.

Posted by: 95CelicaST Aug 9, 2009 - 12:58 AM

Turn off the flash, if that is possible. Your night shots will be exponentially better, so long as you can hold the camera still enough for a clear shot.

Yeah, I did. I can't hold a camera still to save my life. Those 2 night pictures were selected from the 86 I took. Most of them were so blurry it was insane, and the other ones the color was messed up. Only the middle picture has flash. That's the only way I could make it look half decent.

I wonder how this camera will do in the rain... I love rainy day picture shots. I don't know why.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Aug 9, 2009 - 1:18 AM

It was pretty much like;

*Click* *Reviews picture* "CRAP! BLURRY." *Click* *Reviews picture* "CRAP! BLURRY." *Click* *Reviews picture* "CRAP! BLURRY." 86 times... All alone in the empty road in the middle of the night.

...Yeah. The flash finally made it a bit more clear, and even though it looked like complete garbage, I was psyched that it wasn't blurry. Haha.

I went to some reviews, and apparently I've been doing it all wrong.

I gotta start learning about iso and shutter speed and all that jazz. Because now that mine's adjustable, I don't have an excuse for crappy-looking pictures. frown.gif

Update 8/23:

-Washed inside and out (lmfao, finally!)
-Removed front Toyota emblem
-Removed front License plate
-Added alarm system
-Ordered JDM tail lights, they will be here friday (keep your fingers crossed)
-A pleasant scratch on the back bumper from some idiot hitting me in the parking lot. Not noticeable at a distance of more than like 2 feet, but it's there. Hit and run. **** Civics.

Interior (Doors are cleaner than they look in this picture lmfao.)

Butt-Shot

Removed the license plate & Toyota emblem!

The holes... Repairing asap. School is limiting my time.

Thanks for looking.

I'm getting a good deal from a buddy of mine that works at Les Shwab.

I'll get the exact wheel names and pictures and stuff and put it on here in a bit.

They're 17" with black on the wheel and a chrome trim around the outside.

I get that and new tires for $700 installed. Which is definitely not bad.

And I plan to sell the stockies. They're in great condition for a car so old, and spraypainting them ruins the value.

Posted by: kavy Aug 28, 2009 - 7:25 PM

welcome to the family.the people here have said pretty much everything you could do to your car.hhmmmm...u could get and aftermarket intake..lol.good luck with ur car and keep her safe..

Posted by: richee3 Aug 28, 2009 - 9:18 PM

Congrats! JDM tails are probably, in my opinion, the best exterior mod you can do to the car for the money. The car itself looks great, but those tails are very obvious early 90's, and the JDM tails bring the car into this century. Plus, they are a whole lot cheaper than splitters of JDM headlights or anything else, so in my opinion, the best mod for the money. I'm glad you decided to not paint your stockers- it's always easy to tell when somebody took factory wheels and painted them to try to pass them off as something else. I like the stock wheels just fine on our cars, just so long as they aren't painted. But your car is very clean, and you seem to have a good head on your shoulders, so keep up the good work!

Posted by: Keiri Aug 29, 2009 - 11:59 AM

Lookin' clean!

Can't wait for the next set of pics.

Posted by: johnnehh Aug 29, 2009 - 12:41 PM

Thanks for the feedback, guys :]

The pictures didn't exactly turn out as I had planned (They're horrid, actually) but in any case, here they are;

I like the look of my JDM tails, though! biggrin.gif

Monday I'm getting a new radiator and setting up an appointment for a new clutch.

And also, I'm going to buy those rims that are on the Red Golf GTI. He is going to sell the wheels and tires to me for $600.

You might notice some of the pictures have a sticker that says "Just 4 Fun, Nothing Personal." That's a car group/club that I've been hanging out with recently. It's not a club where you pay to be a member each month or something, but it's more like a family of a few people that spend more money and time on their cars than they do their relationships. I've been hanging around with them the last few weeks, and yesterday they invited me in and I got my stickers :]. I know that doesn't seem like much (a sticker) but it's a big accomplishment to me.

Thanks for the feedback again guys. Thank you :]

Upcoming list of things to buy:
Those wheels (18")
Headers
Exhaust
Strut bars front and rear
Lower an inch
Cold air intake

smile.gif

As always, suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.

Yeah, I agree, but I've been having doubts about how they'll look on my car. They are 18", and it will raise my car up about a half inch. He still has to save up for new rims before he sells them to me, so I have time to lay out my options.

How do you guys think they'd look?

Posted by: SwissFerdi Sep 2, 2009 - 8:56 PM

So then it's a mod by the previous owner? I'm pretty sure there is no factory strut bar, but I don't own a GT either, so.

The rims would look good in general, but I think they might be a bit big. The 6GC is a relatively small car, and I wouldn't personally go over 17". Better ride as well.

Oh haha. The guy I bought it from was an old grandpa who drove it to and from the grocery store.. So I don't think he put it on. I'm pretty sure GT models have it stock, can anyone confirm?

And I agree. I wouldn't go bigger than 17" either, but the deal I'd be getting for these rims is unbelievable.

Maybe I'll just go buy some new tires and leave the stockies on there. Who knows. wink.gif

If you really want different rims and have the cash, I'd say no to your friend's rims and look for some 17's instead.

x2 on the strut bar. I think it might have even been offered after that as part of the sport package that had stiffer suspension.

By the way, that's not a cold air intake. That's a short ram intake. It's kinda like a hot air intake, since it's sucking heat right off of your motor. It'll pep the car up a bit though.

I've got basically the same intake on my car. I guess it's actually literally the same intake. My air filter is blue though. It doesn't add any power, but it peps the car up just enough to notice, and sounds better than Civics and their fart pipes. I'm jealous of your strut bar, by the way. GFX: 2x MSI GeForce 8800GTS (G92) in SLI
CPU: AMD X2 6400+ Black Edition
HDD: 2x 320GB Western Digital 7,200RPM HDD
Mobo: ASUS M2N-E AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra
PSU: XCLIO STABLEPOWER 500W
and a ZALMAN 9500A 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler.

Haha.

I know, it's old now, but it was top of the line when I built it.

Cool man. I know how it is. Computers are a crazy rapid market, the next gen parts are just around the corner. Your car reminds me of mine, rapidly modding being a first car and all. Its exciting. Ive toned down my car modding alot, back to my roots with my computer.

I see you got the same SRI I have on mine. I plan on removing the filter, and putting a Weapon R 3' Dragon filter on it. With the heatshield, ran to the fender entrance to pull cold air from there.

https://www.upscaleautomotive.com/p-12190-weapon-r-cold-air-heat-shield-for-dragon-intake-filters.aspx

Don't steal that idea though, atleast til I finish it, and tell you the results =P

Telepopmusik - Breathe

And thanks :]

Any feedback on the cold cathodes? My friend who is completely anti-rice hates them, but I don't think they look ricey at all. I like them a lot :]

I had some problems with installing them, though haha. I got them all wired up, cut a hole in the inside of the dash for the switch, then I glued the switch on... And the switch got glued to the "Off" position >.< so I had to go get another switch and do it all over again. But I think it looks great for a grand total of $13.50 :]

I can DEFINITELY feel the difference when I put my foot down. Worth the money. When I was pulling out from a stoplight today, I gave it about 3/4 throttle (I drive aggressive... biggrin.gif ) and it seemed like I flooring it before. Like 3/4 now is full throttle before... Idk, hard to explain haha, but you can feel the difference.

Honestly I didn't hear much of a sound difference at all. I have the stock exhaust, that may be why. The only sound difference I hear is that it sounds like the intake is taking in more air.. Like before I could make my car sound completely stock by just easing on the throttle, but now you can hear the intake even when just barely pressing the gas.

Maybe my imagination though, I dunno.

A housing company started building streets and stoplights and everything for a new housing development they were building, and then got shut down because they didn't have a permit to build on wetlands. So all the roads out there are just empty. It's pretty awesome, if you ask me biggrin.gif

With our cars, I've noticed that every bit of weight reduction makes a noticeable difference. I can clearly notice the contrast in boost response and how the car pulls from a dead stop. Might be a placebo effect, but other cars I've ridden don't seem to feel different with less weight in the back.

Posted by: delusionz Sep 27, 2009 - 2:24 PM

I liked the look laugh.gif

Most interior lights are now red (looks less pink in real life lmao)

Digital Tach and shift light

Gauge pod and red bulbs

Switch to control cold cathodes

Hyper-White back up lights

Sprayed the rear Toyota emblem flat black (yes, I know, it needs some cleaning up)

Much lighter sub. A single 12" now instead of two 10"s. (The wiring is crap because I'm going to have to take it out when I go drag racing next weekend)

And last but definitely not least... SPARCOS!

Authentic Sparco brackets & sliders

$15 from ebay. It's a universal one.

I wouldn't recommend getting one, though. They don't fit our cars very well. There's a huge gap in mine. I'd spend some extra $$ and get the one that the member here sells. I bought this to get a cheap way out, and I paid for it with it looking horrible.

Dude, I'd just forget about the gauges...honestly, it's ricey. You don't need them.

How long can I go without getting new shocks? (When I install the lowering springs)

First of all, that's a good order to get things in. (Refer to your earlier post about suspension and the gauge pod.) Second, your factory struts will last maybe a month on lowering springs. Don't waste your time with putting new springs on, then have to take everything back off to put new struts in later. Just save up and do it all at once. Take it from me.. I've had to redo my suspension 3 times now, because of lowering springs on factory struts, and it gets old, taking everything apart.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Oct 13, 2009 - 9:48 PM

Speaking of, how hard is it to install the springs yourself? I always thought a compression machine was necessary.

Nope. Depends on how good you are. I thought it was necessary too, so I rented it, but I didn't need it at all when I did mine. The OEM springs are taller than the springs, if you think about it. Since KYB's are OEM replacements, they should be too (But I cannot confirm that.) Just be careful that you don't push the strut down, or it's a pain to pull back out. But putting lowering springs on your car is an easy DIY job. Pm me if you want a more detailed explanation. No need to clutter jonnehh's thread. Jonnehh, same to you, if you buy lowering springs. I'd be glad to tell you how to install them. It's not hard at all.

Posted by: SwissFerdi Oct 13, 2009 - 9:57 PM

Last post on this subject, I'll PM you when I buy the supplies...which will be a little while. But if I can save a few hundred doing it myself...I'm willing to go for it.

Are you able to catch a video (safely) showing the boost gauge and the tachometer as you're driving? from a standstill and catch both part throttle and full throttle?

Curious to see on NA.

My gauge springs right up to 0 with a bit of throttle. At 2000 rpm it springs up to about 3psi (or 4psi if I floor it)

It's a cheap ricey piece of crap toy. I hate it. I'm going to burn it.

And it's about right. The video delays a little bit and makes it look off... I should have kept it at 3,000 rpm, it just looks off because of the video.

Nah the boost gauge is fine, just keep it. You've probably put screw holes in your pillar anyways.

It all looks fine to me, a little on the cheap side yeah, but still in proportion to the value / spec of the car at the moment.

Now that kinda stuff would not be acceptable on my GT4 lol, I have an HKS gauge, and interested in getting AEM AFR gauge from the US.

Actually, I'm going to roll on stocks for now. I've been talking to people on the forum, and they've been telling me that I don't really NEED struts, they're just better to have. If I was going to lower it like 2" front and back, I would definitely get new struts. But since it's 1.4/.9 I don't think I'll need them for awhile.

I'll make sure to tell everyone how it goes tongue.gif

Harness bar or factory seatbelts. Don't be stupid.

Not really an update, just a heads up.

I'm completely redoing my interior.

People going to the meet will have some sneak peaks.

I'll post more about it when I figure out what I'm doing. Hah.

Posted by: johnnehh Jan 14, 2010 - 7:12 PM

Alright guys, few updates.

First off, I'm done with my rice phase. I chopped off all the useless gauges (except for the digital tach, because my tach is off and I need to fix the idle problem). I read up on my 4 point harnesses, and it scared me quite a bit. Those were the only seat belts I had in the car, and if I would have gotten into an accident I would have snapped my spine >.< so I had to let them go. And with all of the back pain, the Sparco seats are now up for sale. I am now going to cleanliness and comfort instead of lightweight and crazy. Don't get me wrong, I want to make my car look beautiful but I want to do it right... No more cheaping out on parts and stuff.

So I'm starting off with the interior first. I'm going to be updating this thread in 'waves' because I'm changing the car quite a bit.

So here's the additions with a few pics

-95 ST tan stock seats, front and back (off of CelicaST_Cali's car)
-TC spare and jack/tire iron back in the car
-All panels back on

Again, I'm not done. There is much to do. wink.gif

The reason I ask is because it looks fugly (sorry) but on some WRC cars, the Tow hook is painted Red and it reminded me of that. I Might do that.

Posted by: richee3 Jan 26, 2010 - 12:55 AM

Genius? No, absolutely not. I've just taken a particular interest in your car. It's very close to mine. Clean, black, facelift, 5 speed GT, JDM tails, tan interior. Right down to that little bitty ding on your fender in that picture I quoted. Mine has a similar ding in almost the exact same place. The difference between our cars is that you've gotten to do things I haven't- you got rims on your car and I never did. You have your car lowered. I had mine lowered a long time ago, but it's not anymore. In addition to the work you've done that I haven't, you will have your car a long time from now and will be able to do things to it that I will never get to do. I'm living vicariously through you right now. Lol.

Alright, another update.

I took off my front bumper and driver side high-beam to get the condensation out and reseal it, and my friend Joe was looking at the taken apart headlamp and said "Hey, you could paint this ribbon thing..." and I looked at it and was like "Hmm, never seen it done before, I could be the first... And it might look pretty cool!" So I went to Kragen and got some black glossy paint.

I took LOTS of pictures of doing this step by step and opening/sealing the headlamps, etc. but my computer crashed and all I have is cell pics from the days after. The pics of the process are on my camera. I'll post them up when I get everything back to normal on my computer.

But for now, here's the end result in low quality pictures;

And thanks, guys! But the drivers side turn signal got lost in shipping (I guess it wasn't screwed down) so now I'm waiting for Stevenson to check if either he has it or file a claim with Greyhound... The hood isn't fixed quite yet. It still sits slighty crooked, but it's a lot better than before.

I took off the rubber "guides" that are supposed to be touching the hood. I raised the stops for the hood on the driver side and took the passenger side ones completely off so it looks alright.

I bought the fog lights with the bumper from Culpable, and I've had nothing but problems. They were supposed to be "pigtail wiring" but he forgot and just sent the fogs. Then he told me he shipped the pigtails to me, but that was 3 weeks ago and I've seen nothing yet, and he ignores every pm I send him.

So I guess I'm probably going to wire them directly into my fog wires... Thanks, Stevenson!! kindasad.gif

Posted by: Tech-Nics Mar 23, 2010 - 2:14 PM

Actually you should have the pig tails already there. All 96+ Celica's have the pig tails right behind where the old bumper's fog lights went. They fit the GT-4 fog lights. That's what I did with mine. My wife has a 96 ST and she never plans on getting fog lights for her car. So I cut off the pre-installed fog light wires that are tucked on both sides on the front and used them for my GT-4 fog lights. I just had to get a fog light wiring kit with a toggle switch for only 7 bucks at pep boys. The fog wires on the 96+ are plug in play with the GT-4 fog light plugs.

I'm gonna be the Jack@$$ of this story.

if you wouldn't have try to charge me US$12.47 of gas money you spent driving to greyhound to pick up the bumper without calling first to check if it was there

OR

if you wouldn't have called me the next night at 9 40 pm to threaten to sue me while I was with family / friends, ( bumper arrived next day )

or if you wouldn't have sent me txt messages to my cell phone at 2 am in the morning ( California time would have been 11 pm still late to contact someone )

or call me / txt me / pm me at the same time the same question, all day everyday. I may have been more helpful,

I screw you over, because I didn't ship the male plugs for your fogs, which as stated above you already have in your car, but you paid for them so you are entittle to them anyways, it was an oversight of mine, and I said I was gonna ship them, I did, and you haven't gotten them, well, I don't work at the post office and neither I carry with me every tracking number of everythign I ship, I did get your message which was sent on Saturday, I was at a meet that day and then to my sister's birthday, Sunday I was busy ALL DAY, and saw your message yesterday, since I haven't gone to the post office ( was planning to go after work today ) I didn't feel to reply until I got solid information to share, I am sorry that I sold you a front bumper, if time machines are ever produce I would go back in time and make a fire pit out of that bumper. you have got to be the most annoying person alive, and if not, you are pretty good competion,

I have stated to every single person I've sold something lately, that I have very little free time and thus shipping is not always smooth, everyone else has always gotten what they paid for, I have always been easy to reach, I provide people my cell phone number in case they need to reach me fast, which you abused, I return all my phone call and reply to messagess, but if you pm someone with a question, allow time to find an answer.

Doesn't it just straight up bug you when someone bugs you for the stuff they paid for? wink.gif

Honestly, culp, if you would have sent the stuff when you said you did, we wouldn't be having any of these problems. It would be like any other of the thousands of transactions I've had online, and you're the only one that has a problem with me.

You have turned out to be the worst seller, and if not, good competition.

EDIT: No, I sold my fogs with pigtail wiring, and I was waiting for you to send me a message back saying either A. you shipped them and they got lost or B. you haven't shipped them yet. Both would be alright with me, I don't care anymore at this point. I just need to know so I can go out and buy what I need to make it work. So please, even if you have no information, pm me back and say that. It's better than ignoring me.

Posted by: Culpable04 Mar 23, 2010 - 2:51 PM

I can live with being the worst seller, what you ignore is that I'm not the only one who thinks this way, I just happen to be the one who reply to your sarcastic comments, but say / do all you want, I won't say one more thing and I"M NOT GOING TO THE POST OFFICE , if you do get them in the mail, great for you, if you don't too bad.

enjoy your bumper, if costed you more than what you think.

about sending you a reply, yes I didn't send a reply, why ?

1- didn't have any solid information other than repeating myself saying " I shipped them "

2- everytime I see your screen name my blood boils and I need to go out for a walk or punch a dummy bag.

You're absolutely right about that last part. It definitely did cost more than I think.

Whether it was having those scratches fixed that your poor packaging job (he wrapped one roll of bubble wrap around the center of it and duct taped it), or whether it was replacing the turn signals that you forgot to include, or now that I have to go out and pay extra money to wire up the fog lights correctly.

I'm sorry for bugging you when 4 weeks had passed and you still hadn't shipped the bumper.

I'm sorry for complaining when you gave me a garbage tracking number that didn't work.

And I'm DEFINITELY sorry that you can't handle it when someone wants what they pay for.

Posted by: Culpable04 Mar 23, 2010 - 3:03 PM

greyhound tracking numbers only work on their internal system unless you get an online generated label

did it take 4 weeks to get shipped ? yes, and I made it VERY clear before you send the money that I have very little time and woudln't be able to ship right away.

the bumper was properly wrapped and you were the dummy who signed off on it without inspecting it, it was insured for 300 which is the max greyhound allows.

when you grow up and finally are allowed to buy cigaretes buy one, light it up and put it up your $$$$$$ that my ju8mpstart your brain cells.

now I'm definately out, before you keep dragging me down to your level so you could win ( dr House anyone ? lol )

We're having a conversation, don't degrade to insulting. Makes you look childish.

And I still have the pm that says "If I don't get to ship it this Monday (which was the next day at that time), next Monday will be the absolute latest."

If you would have said "Hey it's gonna take me like 4 weeks to ship and I'll do it on my own leisurely time" that would have been fine, I would have found a better seller. But you didn't.

Blah, I'm done. Take this into off-topic rolleyes.gif
