I've still got mine. It just lives in a city about 24hrs drive from where I currently live. And hasn't been driven in a couple years |

And here I got excited I could contribute, as someone who's dedicated their life to snowboarding. Catfished by a reply on a thread from 2004 |

Maybe ask him? Sure, people can speculate, but you'll never really know if its accurate. |

by Rim (Wheel) "profile" do you mean the sizing of the wheels? If so, here are two threads that outline ideal wheel specs for different sizes, offsets, etc. One provides a more aggressive "hellaflush" stretched tire fitment, and the other a less aggressive more functional flush wheel setup http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=69919 http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=32534 Hope that's what you're looking for. |

Its the little things they used to do that they don't anymore that will make you crazy. My celica didn't come with fog lights, but the harness is completely there and all it took was hooking up the fogs and swapping the multifunction for one with the fog light switch. My newer car is not that simple to do. You want to add a feature like that, then you gotta add all the wiring and everything. Just a PITA anymore.. the only problem with these 20 yr old econoboxes is that they are starting to get so high mileage and age on em that they are becoming more expensive to maintain than they are worth. Oil leaks, oil burning, rust, worn out suspension and steering, years of neglect from previous owners, its all adding up and taking its toll on the easy to mod and very reliable cars of the yesteryears... That's interesting, because my 95 didn't have fog lights, and it wasn't wired for them either. The only thing that was there was the holes in the crash bar for the mounting brackets. Everything else was up to me to sort out. |

Def go with the Work Cr Kiwami's, or the OZ's. RPF1s have just been done so much, and don't really look that good unless they're wide with a deep step lip. And xxr's are, well, xxrs lol |

I've never been a fan of the 7th gen . I'd say sell it and get back to the 6gc! |

Just bought some 18x8 with 35 offset. What are the biggest widest tires I can run with out rubbing or needing to modify anything? Looking for higher sidewall more than anything else. I don't mind if they run a little on inner plastic, I can fix that with some heat. I ran 225/40/18 with this wheel width and offset, on tien s-tech/gr2's and had slight rubbing in the rear over large dips. Didn't have rolled fenders though. |

eBay is likely your best bet. There may be some in the For Sale threads here. Other options would be going through a site like Yahoo Auctions Japan, but you will need someone to order them for you. Jesse Streeter (The company) offers services like this. RPM Garage is another website that gets them from time to time, however they are generally more expensive than the other 3 mentioned options. |

As njccmd said, best bet is to go to the junkyard with a cutting wheel and cut out of an existing car the panel you need, and then weld it onto your car to replace. |

Welcome. Curren tail lights won't fit this car, you'll need to go with the JDM/Kouki tails. Curren's only fit on a coupe and you have a hatch back. Nice looking car! |

I'm curious, what are you protecting the welds from? Rust/corrosion? I'm about to weld a new muffler on one of my vehicles, but hadn't even thought that the welds would need protection. |

Not sure if anyone is reading, but after a new timing belt, pulleys, water pump, belts, coolant cap and a few hoses it fired right up first hit! Runs absolutely perfect, and is pretty peppy. After sitting for 3 years im impressed. So now since it has a full tank of old fuel im trying to run the fuel out of it by driving the car around as much as possible. Only other thing i will need to do is recharge the AC and then fix the body parts. Oh and the brakes sounded absolutely terrible until the rust got knocked off lol. I store my car for winter (4-6months) and the brakes are brutal after, I can't imagine 3 years haha. Nice pick up! Lets see some pics of this prerunner you've got too haha |

You're correct in saying that a header doesn't really add much to performance. Most guys don't see much of an increase, the 5sfe isn't really a performance engine, but more an economy engine. I'm pretty sure the link you posted is the same "eBay" header that everyone gets for the 5sfe. One thing to note if you do go with that one, is to heat wrap it. Once it gets up to temp the finish turns all kinds of funky colors. It'll also keep the engine temps slightly lower, as you'll no longer have a heat shield with an aftermarket header. |
