Let an s54 sit in my passenger seat for 2months while my car wasn't being used...seat bottom soaked in transmission fluid.
Gonna (attempt to) wash the cloth upholstery but want to save my self some hassle and want to just buy the bottom foam

I started with what I know to do, I swap engine into my car, I knew it was too much work to make it a AWD. I kept it FWD. Went to take a crack at doing the wiring conversion. Than, I realize, shoot, this is out of my league.

The rails bolt to the floor in exactly the same spot, but mount to the seats differently. The cushions are totally different as well.

Really? Dang wrong way around in my head. Thanks for the info! Was planning on replacing my seat cushions and covers but I may as well just replace the whole seat then

Really? I thought that's what you were saying, actually. The upper part of the rails that the seat attaches to is different, so I thought that's what you were saying is different. The cushion is a different shape in addition to mounting differently.

Nah I thought mounting points on the floorpan was different. Is their differences between the verts/coupes and hatchbacks?

I can't speak for the rear seats in a vert, but the front seat mounting is the same across the board. I'm about 95% sure that coupes and liftbacks share the same rear seats buy it's been so long since I parted a coupe out that I can't say 100%.
