I donít remember what size they actually are but I remember puretone having a set flow tested and they were significantly higher than Toyota claims, something like 400cc. An upgrade is definitely unnecessary.

Nah, I was already slowing down on driving it then we moved to Denver. Now we live somewhere where people just canít drive and the roads are covered in debris. We donít even drive the Celica anymore because people and roads here suck.

Crazier things have happened and thereís a good chance I wouldnít turn down a reasonable offer at this point. It basically sits in the garage then goes out for cars and coffee a few times a year.

Yup, theyíre the standard emblems on the Supra. Still readily available. I just need a couple more emblems and Iíll have all new emblems on the car. Probably just sell it instead though.

Got a little less room in the garage again tonight. New front bumper, headlights, and lip. I hate losing the ďall originalĒ aspect of the car but the bumper was much needed. Oh, and a new car cover because apparently your car just isnít safe even when itís in the garage. rolleyes.gif

The guys in the 100 series groups love lseats.com since our seats always rip. However, the Supra guys prefer Ridies seat covers which look better in my opinion, but I donít know if they offer anything for the 7gc.

The squealing is probably from your power steering belt, lower down and towards the back of the block. Itís pretty simple to adjust, loosen a locking bolt, adjust tension on the belt by moving the pump put, tighten the locking bolt again.

Iíve barely seen a change. I still have to drive to work with the same amount of traffic as always and deal with the same stuff. Iím not in Miami right now, so thereís that. I donít have anything interesting to post either so Iím pulling a Daniel on this one. laugh.gif

Umm... we might get an inch of snow today?

The Miata needs new tires and I have a constant CEL from the auto ó> manual swap but other than that, nothing to report.

Uhhhhh...... I like green M&Mís.

We had good weather over the weekend so I took the time to wash four out of five of the cars. I forgot that the Lexus is actually in pretty decent condition but I need to try to clean years worth of brake dust off of the wheels. The finish is done for, of course. After a quick wash I think the Miata will actually clean up pretty well with a full detail and polish in a few weeks. I didnít bother pulling the Supra out of the garage to clean it but I did have to work on it a little... long story but these crappy home contractors will definitely be paying to repaint the front bumper. Iím definitely missing some clear coat in one spot. The paint isnít perfect on the front bumper, far from it, but the paint is only original once. Crap like this is why I keep considering selling it.

I think this goes without saying but weíre out for this meet. With a trip to Miami in April and a family trip to Yellowstone in May, neither of us can get the time off work for this meet. Maybe we can load up the puppers and make a fall meet though, as long as it doesnít overlap with my Vegas trip. laugh.gif

I think the next purchase is a bigger garage.

I do need a bigger garage. A nice shop and a lift would do the job just fine. I donít think thatís asking for too much. The Miata gets the driveway and the Lexus gets curbside parking so weíre somehow making it work but it is annoying.

I told him to knock out the back wall of his current garage and turn his backyard into a 4+ car extension but........... he wanted grass.

I need grass. Stupid Colorado.

QUOTE (Lorelei6gc @ Feb 14, 2020 - 12:24 PM) *
Grass is boring. You have to go out and cut it all the time so it doesn't become unsightly. I'd much rather have extra garage space than grass.

Unfortunately the doggos need a yard, otherwise garage space would easily be a priority. Living in Colorado, I donít have to mow that often because the grass is typically dead. laugh.gif

Found out earlier this week that Iím gonna have to gut and redo the entire sound system in the LX. Everything is failing one component at a time which kinda sucks. Itís not the best system in the world but it is well balanced, falling a little short on the highs but otherwise adequate. Replacing everything with JBL this time around, nothing fancy. Picked up a Blaupunkt amp at a great price after hearing great things about them, then finding out that apparently theyíve gone out of business. May end up replacing that later.

Hopefully getting the Miata on the road this weekend too. I wanted to have that done already but weíve gotten quite a bit of snow since I bought it. Based on the conversation I had with Brigette last night, I donít think I own a Miata anymore. I think it just became hers... I canít have anything fun. laugh.gif

Oh we've got an 8 lug Avalanche in the shop with the Vortec 8100. Talk about a bigass engine!

They made such a thing?

Pictures or it didn’t happen.

Oh hey, an Emerald Green Mica NB1 LS. smile.gif

I need a Miata in my life again. The Firebird is finished aside from final buff and polish, then can sell it.

Tacking the LS there on the end shows that you know more about the car than I do. laugh.gif
