See that's just an unconditional law of the universe, do something to your car where it doesn't need to get wet and it'll rain.

No offense to any one here since all of you guys are cool, but I HATE(most) cisgender men. Had one this morning tell me I need to just get over not being able to get pregnant and being able to be a mom... that it's not the end of the world... It made me so upset I ended up with a migraine immediately and it wasn't until BC powder and a Maxalt could be taken, and laying down with an ice pack, that it just now went away. The one thing I want more than anything, that I'd do anything for... no big deal right...

Eww children. Adopt don't shop...wait that's for animals eh same thing.

Drove the Celica, got gas, got errands, bedded the brakes, felt great, managed to hit ONLY ONE BUG. I did find some streaking under the Rejex out in the sun, meh whatever I'll deal with it some other time.

Children can be wonderful, it's mostly up to the parents in how they behave. I'm not against adoption or should I end up with a bio woman if she wanted to(since I sure as Hell wouldn't want to deprive her of the opportunity), it'd just be nice to be the one you know... Ha... I was so devastated when I had "the baby origins talk" with mom, and found out I couldn't be a mom like her... I was like four or five at the time...

Anyway... woo driving! If that ONE bug had been a Herculean beetle you'd be saying some other things.

Sigh... the lack of aftermarket and factory support for the MR2 really bites and makes it harder to convince myself it's a good idea over getting yet another Miata like everyone and their aunt.

Same, but I really like the 1MZ and 2GR swapped SW MR2 as well... Logically the Miata is the better option in most ways, the only place I can say the MR2 is better logically is that it's an enclosed roof car and is slightly more practical with the dual trunks and interior storage bin. That aside... the Miata is just better in every way in the other things that matter. Aesthetically I much prefer the SW MR2, but I like the NB2 quite a bit as well. I dunno, maybe after owning another convertible and actually utilizing such at night I'll be more for them. I just like the security and refinement of a structural metal roof.

So I've been using Gran Turismo Sport as a tool for deciding on cars, since that's the only way I can drive them back to back. With my real world experience in the Miata it gives me a frame of reference since there's a Miata in game, so comparing the other cars in game to the Miata in game should give a decent idea. At least better than pure speculation based on specs and reviews, since I'd imagine Sport has managed to capture how the cars drive in real life for the most part based on the Miata at least. The Miata behaves very much like it does in real life, very toss-able and hugs corners with ease but takes a delicate hand to get the most of its twitchy nature. That said there's nothing you can do to **** up royally in it, and driving like a complete asshat you're never in danger and it takes restraint not to **** up the driving line and lap times in the name of shenanigans for fun.

With that in mind and as a baseline, I don't think I'd like driving the MR2. It takes such a different approach to driving it versus a FR car, especially when pushing it since one small mistake is all that's needed and you're kissing your ass as it spins around just because you didn't get your braking and throttle transitions 100% perfect going through the corner. Oddly enough pulling the weight down to the N/A version of around 2,600 pounds it was perfectly tame in comparison, though in Sport there's no weight balancing setting like in older games so I imagine the weight setting pulls from the heaviest end before pulling it all around. So in that case the N/A version might be fine since I've read where it's more tame in handling dynamics from the reduced weight in the rear over the Turbo model. Then again, not like I'm ever going 10/10 on the street anyway. Maybe 7/10 or 8/10 depending on the car.

I also spent some time with the 350Z since it's a viable contender except for its portly weight. There's something weird about the 350Z, it almost has this FWD like tendency to understeer. That aside after adjusting it drove nicely, very stable in all situations and the complete opposite of the MR2 in that regard. More stable than the Miata too, though nowhere as playful or light on its feet. It's funny you can "feel" the weight in how the cars react and move in the game, as dropping the weight down to just above 3,000 pounds made a huge improvement and is where the car should be and should've been all along. So I think I'd actually like a 350Z with enough weight reduction, which isn't that hard or expensive on early Enthusiast models since they start at 3,190 pounds.

The safe choice is the Miata, I know I like how it handles and its dynamics and that it'll only greatly improve just with wheels and tires much less things like coil-overs and sway bars. If the 350Z were more practical and space efficient(is that huge SHOCK tower brace really necessary?) I'd more willing to overlook the weight to gain a structural metal roof. The 350Z is said to ride well, but I know the NB2 rides well too and will only get better with 15's over the factory 16's. I wish Sport had the MR-S as well, since that'd be the only other car I'd look at since it's easy to 2ZZ swap it.
