I just got me a set of projector for my Celi. and I'm wondering do you have to convert it to a LHD? Would it really matter? Where could you get your accent bulbs?

First make sure they are for sure from RHD, I got mine from Japan, so it's pretty obvious.
It is a must to convert them, you will blind the fak out of people. The bulbs in the accent should be the same as the ones in the cluster. T10. At least that's how it is on my euro spec 6th gen, we got the hazy headlights, but also the accents inside them. -------------------- |

I'm curious, did they make any LHD projectors for LHD European countries?

I got mine from Japan too and is that why it's illegal or that DOT approved? I read the how to convert it to LHD and it seems simple but, I don't want to take it all apart bc I'm afraid I might mess it up. Any suggestion on a cheaper easier way to fix this? |

That's the cutoff for our projectors. There's no simply aiming them lower to avoid blinding people, unfortunately. However the cutoff mod is nowhere near as difficult as it sounds. Based on the pictures richee3 provided I may have come up with another way to "modify" projectors:
Hole saw to cut bulb holder area out. Rotate 15-20 Degrees counter clockwise . Hot glue back in. |
