There's some stuff west of the city that I think may be more equidistant to more of us, I just don't know about hiking/picnicking/dining in those areas personally.

We're still here. smile.gif

Can't wait for the next meet. It'll be the first time that my daughter will witness the pure sexiness of a Celica. We saw a super clean third gen MR2 in the Costco parking lot and she liked that it was yellow. lol

Has there been any date thrown out yet? Given things are starting to open again it's about to get busy again so a sooner date the better.

No one has put forth any plan yet. I think we're all open to suggestions.

As far as I know I'm open any of those days.

Anyone have an idea for location?

^ Available the same dates as well. The only changes is if the car is in the shop by then and not out.

I'm probably out till COVID blows over (if ever - lol). We have some family members that can't afford to get it. I foresee things spiking when school starts back up, so we'll see.

I completely understand. My offer of you driving the Celica is good indefinitely.

I may make it down to TOTD later this year with a friend (BRZ guy) and visit my mom while I'm down there, but it certainly won't be any kind of meet up. I've barely driven this year, been working on some small repairs but going very very slowly.

I think you all should come down to Alabama and we can have ourselves a hootenanny in a state where brains (and masks, unfortunately) are optional.

What do you have now?

I've been trying to get my friend from San Fran and his MR-2 to come out this way and Dragon with me one of these times. He'll probably fly out and ride down to Dragon in my car and I expect the following year he'll be thirsty for it in his own car.

gave up the celica to join the 350z Nissan challenge. so mainly stuck on track days at the moment. now that the GT4 celica is available for import i am in the process of getting one brought over legally to San Diego. just a long process.

I always thought the 350Z Challenge was seeing how long a 16-24 year old automotive enthusiast with a manual nissan 350z can go without hitting a vape or drifting into a tree, pole, or other non road object.

I thought it was how long the transmission and clutch would last (I know they got that fixed eventually, I just knew someone with a lemon 350Z) or how many laps between adding quarts of oil it goes?

Actually the VQ35DE is a nice engine to drive and thankfully for some reason the RWD engine placement doesn't seem to suffer the same timing chain wear issues that they do in FWD, not sure why as as far as I can tell they're the same engine and same timing set.
