Hey guys the transmission pops out of 4th gear. goes through all the other gears but when I put it in 4th it pops out. Any sugestions on what I may be able to do[color="#FF8C00"][/color][/size][size="5"]

Transmission rebuild/repair time. There's no quick fix here. Transmission has to come out of the car and either get repaired or replaced. No way to do anything on the car as 4th gear is inside the main casing of the transmission, which cannot be opened on case as there are 3 bolts (out of 20 or so) that come from the bellhousing side.

Well, could just not use fourth until you find a replacement. Rev third out to your desired speed and go straight to fifth. Depending on if you have a ST or GT you'll have a C52 or S54, respectively. Should be fine until you find another transmission or can have what's in it rebuilt by not using fourth. If you downshift from 5th to 3rd make sure you rev-match, which you should do anyway, that or just pop into neutral when coming to a stop.

I usually do tire-screeching 1st, spirited 2nd, and into 5th for cruising. Give it a try sometime. biggrin.gif
