I got this for cheaper. The rest of the parts will be got from Richee. and its what I'm after for right now.
Still got the freelica to do a v6 or 3sgte swap later if needed. wink.gif

What's cheaper than free? You must be one damn good asian....

laugh.gif laugh.gif I AM a pretty damn good asian.
but Daniel is gonna give me his old beams to transform this one into a redtop, along with a manual swap so that's why. He's sourced out quite a bit of the parts for me already too.

like I said, still got the freelica. wink.gif

Took it for a spin and honestly it feels just as slow as my 7a.... not impressed. laugh.gif

It feels slow because you forgot to put the oil fill cap back on. IF IT CANíT BUILD CRANKCASE PRESSURE, IT CANíT BUILD BOOST TO ACTIVATE VTEC! Everybody knows that.

photodump just for the sake of reference photos and keeping track of things I mess up.

they were nice enough to break the timing cover for me so checking the timing belt was a breeze.

and then of course. this happens....

early morning 6AM
20180415_065004 by C Lor, on Flickr

some time later, my yard is littered with branches from the 50+ mph winds.
20180414_183925 by C Lor, on Flickr

and using my snowblower, it looks as if I did nothing.
2018-04-17_11-24-05 by C Lor, on Flickr

we got at least a foot of snow or more. but I got to stay in all weekend and do absolutely nothing so that was fun.

Yep that storm hit my side of town HARD... Didn't go anywhere over the weekend.

The LED cover would actually be pretty interesting. I just wonder what happens if you got a LED strip and it became loose...

Just use stupid powerful LEDs on the bottom of the cover, that or if you wanted strips on the sides do them where the wiring is on top so that if the adhesive does come undone it just sits there dangling instead of falling down.
