So after selling my 98 GT-S sometime in July...I decided to seek out my dream car! Here's a little story of my adventure to see a GT-Four, up front and in person, for the very first time...

Dragged two buddies along for the journey. We planned for the 12:30pm sailing at the horseshoe bay terminal in BC, to get to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. Turns out the sailing was full and we waited 3 hours for the next sailing. After 1.5 hrs on the ferry we hauled a** 150km north of Nanaimo to Campbell River (keep in mind the last sailing home is 9pm). Finally arriving at the place we took a look at the car, took it for a spin and worked out the payment details.
The pro: engine is still running strong even with meerly 103,000kms
The cons: various surface rust here and there
The solution: leave the car there, get all the surface rust sanded out and get a full paintjob (at my cost)... then ship it to me

Now, I'm just waiting for it to arrive!....time for some teaser pics!

Lol, your exactly how I felt when I got my 6g. I had already purchased it but due to some difficulty's I had to leave it where I purchased it 2hrs away lol I couldn't even sleep thinking about it.

I could just image how you feel anyway, its not just a 6g, you got yourself the top of the line rare model . Congrats man can't wait to see the whole car.

You don't need to run 94 octane in your gt four. I've been running shell 91 since I've owned my ST205. As well I also own A 91 Celica Gt-four(st185) that I have owned for the past 4 years(80,000km that ive put on) and it has never seen anything higher than 91 and it has been to a few racing events. As well my 3s powered MR2(sw20) only gets 91 and I've never had any issues with it.

I know that the japanese ron rating translates to about 94 octane but these cars seem to run just fine on 91 (at stock boost although my 91gt four is running 14psi) unlike some of the other japanese turbo vehicles *cough wrx cough*

94 is not offered anywhere near me is the only reason I'm forced to use 91 but have had 0 issues and never heard of anyone having a issue.

Oh well that's good to hear...I was always under the impression that I had to run 94...and only one gas station company offers that in BC i think....(chevron)
I'm glad I now have an option to save some money on gas haha

Some gas stations have 91 octane but up to 10% ethanol blend....what's your opinion on that?....would it harm the engine?
