yeah, I read a decent amount of his comments and it seemed that anybody that knew anything about cars noticed a loss in power.

Plus, everytime he got called on selling garbage, even if the person was polite about it he tried to make them look like morons.

I mean for god's sake, he said simply adding a k&n filter would add 15hp

It all depends on the electric motor and compressor.
If it can feed enough air to the engine, it will make some power. At least in some parts of the RPM range.
If it can't feed enough, it won't.

There was a dyno up a while back with some Honda [RSX?] that they stuck a leaf blower to the intake, and it was a slight boost in power.

With that said, I wouldn't buy it.
Not really worth it. Especially for $200....

Waste of money. Buy something to make your car sound or look better. You'll be happier with the finished product that way. wink.gif

I think I'm gonna stick with working on the interior while I wait for the swap. Exterior's getting painted after the swap so there's really nothing left besides rims on that tip.

Thanks for the info though guys. It kinda seemed like it may have been bullsh*t.

If it really costs 200 dollars to put a supercharger in your car, then why the hell have people been spending thousands for so long? lol. - 2 gold stars for me even considering it.

laugh.gif this reminds me of this guy I went to high school with. One day I was at the store and I saw him in the parking lot with his hood up. So I walk over and say "hey, everything alright?" and when I came around to the engine bay he had stuck a leaf blower down in the bumper and routed it up to his intake (this is on a late 80's early 90's 4cyl mustang auto) and zip-tied the throttle down at full. It was very fun to watch... until a few weeks later he blew the engine.. oh well..

If I had a 4 cyl mustang, I'd blow it up too.
