I'm so tired of searching for good fitment wheels for our 5x100 pattern. So can someone and if possible smkrew. Can you give a full detail on what you need to buy? Like a shopping list preferably?

From what I read is:

Front:
sxa11 rav4 front hub X2
xv10 camry front rotor X2

Rear:
xv10 camry rear rotor X2
xv10 camry rear hub X2

^^^I'm guessing it'll be the same generation Camry as for the fronts right? Also were there any modifications or were these all bolt on? Besides the need to press the front. from dan0004's post he listed "wheel bearing kit". I'm wandering if he meant you have to buy new bearings in order for the rav4 hub to fit or is he just recommending to change the bearing while you're there already? Meaning the Celica and RAV4 wheel bearing are interchangeable? Please shine more detailed and straight forward information. Sorry for asking so much but I just want a single post that has everything together instead of scrolling down and having someone say it won't work then it works then yadda yadda. Confusion. Lol.

Front:
sxa11 rav4 front hub X2 CHECK
xv10 camry front rotor X2 CHECK

Rear:
xv10 camry rear rotor X2 CHECK
xv10 camry rear hub X2 CHECK

I'm guessing it'll be the same generation Camry as for the fronts right? CHECK

Also were there any modifications or were these all bolt on? BOLT ON

I'm wondering if he meant you have to buy new bearings in order for the rav4 hub to fit or is he just recommending to change the bearing while you're there already? WHEN THE HUB GETS PRESSED OUT IT WILL USUALLY TAKE THE BEARING WITH IT AND IT'S SLIGHTLY FUSED, SO ITS MORE OR LESS REQUIRED

Meaning the Celica and RAV4 wheel bearing are interchangeable? FROM WHAT RESEARCH I'VE DONE YES THEY ARE

I got one last question. Hows the center bores? Are they going to be changed along with the conversion also? I looked up and the camry centerbores are 60.1 and the rav4 are 67.1?

At least that's according to this chart: http://lugpattern.net/Toyota_Bolt_Patterns2.htm

Just wondering, why can't we just use the Camry front hubs?
Both the Camry and Celica use the same outer CV joints - so should fit.
Hubs are Similar too.

Honestly. I wouldn't doubt it if it does. Its just that no one has tried/tested it yet.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Lol. Trying to collect at least around 2k for the whole conversions plus wheels and tires.

UPDATE: I did the conversion and the only issue I had was the thickness of the rotors were a bit thicker so it was rubbing for a bit but after driving it around. It shaved down. Also another issue I had was that I bought the i4 camry rotors and the diameter of the if it was slightly smaller than the stock celica GT front rotor. So atm I am running on the camry front rotor and it's still grabbing but it was cause unever wear on brake pads. Since about 1/8" of the pad has no contact on the rotor. I don't know if the v6 camry has a bigger diameter for the front but this is the only issue I had in the process of this conversion.

Didn't pay too much attention to how off it was but it was really identical. I used the rav4 front hub btw. Not the camry front hub.

What I dont understand is why anyone hasnt tried any rotors or hubs from a mr2?

I know the hub's off the mr2 are the most similar when it comes to the celica being that the axles are just about the same using the same motor 5sfe or the 3sge

GREAT!!!, now you may be able to help, because i have been looking at doing a rear disk convirsion for my ST AND a swap over to 5x114.5..... that being said i have no intent on purchasing parts that i dont need and will be replacing with new parts for the 5x114.5 swap... soooo

if any one can help me, that would be great.. if i am correct for this i would be looking at

camry rear hub, camry rear rotor, gt rear knuckle (or can i keep the ones for the st, but i am thinking that i will need the gt for the caliper mounts..), the plate with the internal parking break drum assembly, and gt caliper (though i am looking into rear caliper "OEM" upgrades like from a rav4/4runner/highlander)

and for the front, looking to do the same.. front to 5x114.5 with "OEM" upgrade... alot to cover, and for the most part already done on this site in one form or another, just not all in the same place or on the same car at once... but i do think it is possible see just as to how many of the OEM parts share the same critical specs (like caliper mounting points and bolts, rotor float offset etc)

fronts look like it will be fairly direct by this point, with the only real aftermarket part/ custom part being the break lines, slotted rotors and aggressive pads (for weekend racing like the EBC or HAWK line)

im sure i am missing some stuff.. but any help would be appreciated...

i now this is a bit of a hijack, if yall want me to start a new thread i will, just a large amount of the relevant data is already here... thank you

This will work for an ST205, except you need to use a Highlander AWD rear hub
