Hello and welcome to the forum!!!

This is awesome to see the progression on the vehicle. I'm surprised Toyota still had the whole block assembly for sale!
Most parts I know are discontinued and usually aftermarket only. Who's black one is that next to your silver one at the last photo?!?!

Gracias! Toyota tiene bloques del 7afe nuevos o de intercambio, en mi caso a sido nuevo, las culatas ya no las fabrican, entre otras piezas, el 6gen st negro es un coche que tengo de despiece para aprovechar algunas piezas para mi otro 6gen gris.

I'm not sure if it works on other browsers; but if you're using Chrome you can right-click (or option click for Mac I think) and there should be an option to "Translate to English."
Might not be word to word it helps with reading.

Ahhh I see, that's pretty cool that they at least still have the block you can get. Parts car is nice, when you're done w/ the gray one rebuild the black one too!

very nice build so far. looks really clean.

I'm curious though. Why did you choose to adapt the 7th gen light control to your 6th gen instead of just getting a 6th gen one?

Eso es, yo uso el traductor del navegador Chrome, el negro no se va reconstruir lamentablemente, como ya comente, es un coche para aprovechar piezas para el de color gris.

Gracias, puse el del 7gen porque en mi país está muy dificil conseguir el del 6gen y en ebay etc.. son muy caros, el del 7gen lo compré muy barato y la adaptación fue fácil.

Actualización, e vaciado un catalizador ( tengo otro de recambio así que no hay problema thumbsup.gif )

Noto que el motor va ahora mas suelto, sube bastante mejor de rpm y suena algo mas bonito.

Durante este tiempo fuí haciendo varias cosas al coche.

Tintado de lunas traseras.





Discos delanteros Bosch y traseros Brembo con pastillas Brembo.







Latiguillos de freno metálicos Hel Performance
Liquido de frenos dot 4 EBC BF 307+ Racing











Es cierto lo que se comenta sobre los latiguillos metálicos, el tacto esponjoso que tenía antes desapareció, mejoro mucho el tacto de frenada, tiempo de montaje y cebado sobre 2h por si alguien se anima a hacerlo.

brakes look great. and I bet they perform much better too.
I'm upgrading my brakes to GT brakes right now, I should probably get some new brake lines too. smile.gif

Tango una pregunta como se siente los coilovers de BC RACING? Quiero en el futuro comprar unos para el mío. También si me puede decir el modelo de ellos

Si se nota mucho la mejora en frenada con estas cosas, y sale muy economico si lo hace uno mismo.

Gracias, con las bc racing a mejorado mucho la estabilidad en todos los sentidos, un paso por curva de lujo... es una lapa, trae regulador de dureza de muelle independiente respecto a la altura, dureza de bastagos regulables con 32 puntos, y regulador de las caidas en las copelas delanteras de la suspensión.

Seguimos con el proyecto, esta vez una pequeña modificación.

E pedido un Tow que estará para llegar, y la idea es anclarla a los enganches de remolque, pero el Celica los dos que trae en la parte trasera están en los laterales, y así no me gusta, la idea es ponerlo en el medio, así que toco hacer una pequeña modificación.

La idea a sido, coger otro anclaje original, como tengo otro Celi aproveché para quitarlo.



Una vez quitado, lo corté bien por la parte delantera, pero por la trasera no, al no caberme bien la radial lo corte al ras, así que toco hacer un apaño soldando una barilla de la misma anchura aprox.





Medimos la chapa y la cortamos para meter el anclaje del remolque.



Una vez cortada, la soldamos.



Ahora solo queda pintarlos.





Así parece original del coche, por lo que no creo que haya problemas en la Itv.



Ahora ya está listo para poner el Tow, que estoy a la espera de que llegue.

that's a very cool small details. It makes your build special to you. I like it. I always thought the tow hooks were set a little wide and too close to the tail pipe.

Seguimos con otra pequeña actualización, e quitado el silenciador intermedio y lo e sustituido por un tubo de hierro, como tengo otro tramo del otro Celica no hay problema para la ITV.

Bueno vamos al lio.

Compré el tubo en una ferretería.



Y justo cuando llego a casa y lo iba soldar, resulta que el diámetro interior era el erróneo al que pedí y tuve que ir a devolverlo :facepalm:

Una vez escogido el adecuado tome las medidas y lo corte encima de la banqueta.



( Perdonar el desorden, estaba a varios trabajos a la vez y pasa lo que pasa)



Soldamos un extremo.



Una vez soldado lo lijamos y lo pintamos.





Lo montamos y a correr.

Como nota suena un poco mas como es de esperar, pero solo un poco, pensé que sonaría mas, donde realmente se nota es al reducir marcha el ronquido que mete, al menos a mi es la sensación que me a dado.

Sabes es lo que estoy pensando hacer pero mi diámetro quiero ir de dos pulgadas a 2.5
Pero hice algo similar al mi reciente excepto era la parte después de el calificador o el gato voy a poner lo pronto en mi proyecto de mi caro
