good to hear!
for future refrence there is a company called relentless motorsports out of TX that can complete this service for people that dont feel comfortable replacing the caps themselves.

any ecu? I have a 1jz that sometimes has a hard start, and that has rough idle, not all the time, need to check that ecu

yes.

both #'s (lift and duration) tell more of a complete picture, but I'm pretty sure the webcams 294 grind is not the actual duration #. IIRC they are somewhere in the low to mid 250's

with no tuning, milder is better.

on the stock ecu, without mods or methods of tuning to require it, larger injectors are not an "upgrade."

basicly, all the 3sgte stuff is a direct bolt in for the 202. the s54 is fine, been using it for over 10 years on my swap, as have many others.

shifter cables, brackets, all stay s54 bits.

main difference is wiring harness. we have a company here in the states that will perform the harness conversion for us called wiregap inc. or you can convert it yourself if your handy with wiring.

with mild cams, it will run ok without tuning, but ideally you'd use something to optimize fueling for the cams.

if you have to advance timing like that, its likely your mechanical timing is off.

yes. but no.
clearances on shims and caps will be slightly diffrent between every set.
you will need to re-shim about every time.

nothing needed other than the correct mounts and brackets for the LH (Transmission) side and 205 shifter cables. 205 mount and bracket on the rear.
all the work for any "S" series engine (or 2gr for that matter ) will be on the RH frame rail.(by "all the work" i mean drill 2 holes)

3" intake and 3" exhaust, and just about 18psi should net you right about 300whp on a 3rd gen in a FWD setup, repeatable on a dynojet over and over.
been proven a few times here, and is pretty typical.

both jim and dustin both made within 5-10whp with very similar setups, IIRC both have sheets posted in the dyno post thats in the FI stickys.

ngo, 3rd gen has 540cc injectors.
2nd gen has 440cc injectors.

good stuff man and decent #s for sure! tq looks to remain fairly steady thruout the run, which is awesome...the E85 runs are impressive! the S54 will hold the power, its the starts that kill the diff and axles..no problems with highway pulls, its the launches or even just quick starts and hardish shifts that'll kill the diff or snap an axle at these power levels.
