Hi there...I was thinking to my loved Celica, laying here 1189 km far from her, studing at university...so I thought that I still didn't make a topic for it...Then to feel my baby with me I'm going to present it to you
When she came with me, in my home, it was a poor '98 1.8l Celica With thoose terrible hubcaps, and 159,000 km But her face was too lovely to me to leave it in the hands of his previous owner... That one that made this wound to my poor car... Thoose cute eyes started to talk with me, praying for love, and told me I must take it with me...the same eyes that 15 years ago (when one of the most beautiful car to me came out) talked with a little child telling him his destiny, as a Celica owner... (If you're thinking I'm crazy, yes, it is XD) There was nothing to do, the first thing that all my friend saw and loved was the...... rear bumper! XD Then, in a sunny day in May, something new rang at my door... Momo Rev 17x7.5 ET35 The previous round sh*t that was on was faslty pulled off and trown away XD to put on thoose ones, with 225/45R17 Bridgestone RE050 Now, there are 215/40R17 tires that give me the performance i was asking for better than the 225/45... In this summer i painted some piece in the interior, this is the result And then: Coming soon !! GT-4 3 post spoiler (not sure about that, but i've already bought it) GT-4 OEM front strut bar (coming from netherlands ) Megan coilovers And some exterior mod Thanks for the attention payed |

Lol. I used to have those hubcaps too. They look like flowers to me. Keep up the good work.

Extremely nice progress, I must say. Very nice modifications, it'll all look nice when the coilovers go on. Although, I don't feel that type of steering wheel really fits a Celica...but that's just me.
Good stuff. Interesting that you went from 225 to 215 series, I actually did the opposite. I feel a bit more stability with the wider tire, but I don't feel like I need the extra rubber. Next tire size I'll try is 205/40/17. This post has been edited by SwissFerdi: Aug 26, 2011 - 11:41 AM -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

The OMP Corsica is the best steering wheel to me, not for the look, but only because it makes you a lot more precise in movements and gives better feedback from wheels... The 225/45 R17 in italy can't be installed on a Celica. The tyre must be max 5% larger or smaller than stock size. I had that tyres only to see how the rims are. |

With the GT-4 calipers from Roy, and a rotor to have some try, from The Nameless' GT-4 in the CT20I, my little AT200 will soon have stronger brakes!

^ Good, better brakes are always beneficial. I'm going along the same route soon too, although not with GT-4 parts - you're lucky. Hope the install goes well.
