sponsorship $ and discounts help a bit but yeah...lottery would turn this from a 4 year project to this year lol
A new car. Yeah. In a perfect world I would. I drove my buddies 350Z this past weekend and now I want a RWD car...but I dont feel like learning a new car lol so I might as well make the Celica a poster child for waste for $ on a useless platform lol -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

...which is why you buy a Miata, dump a lot less $$ into that, and still have the Celica.

Limitations shmimitations
Id end up redoing what I have already done to the celica...to the next car I get. The only two things I battle with are the FWD and the Motor. One of which can be remedied with a quick switch of mindset and a K20swap lol. Drivetrain...Id sooner get a LHD ST205 than getting another car. Most of what I have could be transferred over lol Oh man. Basically make an ST205 look like my car...so you wouldnt even know its and ST205. Thats what I want. Miatas are the WORST. I get bang for buck...but not what Im going for. My buddy just sold his for a 350Z lol Id do a billet block. Id do it. I mean, I much enjoyed and miss the FWD characteristics, especially endless wheel spin in slippery conditions. The lightness of the rear swinging around under trail braking. I just think if you want real racecar, FR is the answer, and a FWD DD is a real fun distraction.
The worst. lol -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

first mod on my master plan of world domination has been completed.
Definitely wasn't able to keep it in the ~$500 range Radium Fuel Surge tank with a Walboro 255 and an Aeromotive pre-pump filter all plumped with Earls Ultra Pro (the regular rubber hose is XRP) The earls ultra pro hose is soooooooo flexible. Im in love with this stuff. I originally planned to tie into the fuel system at the connections neat the bottom corner of the fuel tank but running 4 lines was going to get reaaaal complicated. I last minute came up with an INGENUIOUS plan to just tie into the lines right at the fuel pump This is how things look now (Ive since added a Fuel Pressure sensor in line) mocked up forever tarnished with holes after all was said and done. Did a leak test (turn on the car and see if it leaks lol) Besides the giant leak from above the fuel pump which was caused by me forgetting to completely tighten down a fitting, all I got was some seeping which was quickly resolved by using some AN aluminum crush washers. i would like to chime in and I mean this as a suggestion, dont take it bad.
Make sure you have a leak proof system, or enclose that surge system in a fire proof cage. A fried of mine that tracks his car, just had a fire start in his car, and he had a 2 cm hole in the firewall that acted like a flamethrower. It was an MR2 spyder, and burned his seat, he got away from car quickly. Car was a loss. But that system there, just behind you, all that fuel, can at any time leak, even in an accident. you dont want a gas shower.... Make sure you have an emergency switch to turn off the fuel pump, and a cage/box for it that is fireproof.. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
