Apparently getting 3 people to sign up isn't netting free tickets. I sense backlash.

Goodluck, i've been told i've been getting parts anyday now for about 5 months.

Prime example of waiting too long. You should have started a process to get your money back about 4 months ago.

While mods can help in many situations, it isn't their job to be mediators for buying/selling disputes. This is a buyer-beware world and you need to make sure you cover your ass any time you send someone money. The best the board can do is have marketplace ratings so that people have an idea of what a buyer/seller is like, and whether they can be trusted.

Furthermore, sellers need to own up to the fact they maybe overwhelmed with what they can provide. As soon as you have someone's money it is a priority to get their goods out to them in a timely and effective manner. I've read some of the stories on here and people have been waiting months for parts? That's unfathomable. If I don't have what I purchased within a couple weeks, there is hell to pay. And by hell, I'm talking legal action and law enforcement. It's a straight-up crime to take money from someone and not provide the goods/services you are promised.

Expect the best, prepare for the worst. Always cover your ass. Don't do a buyer a "favor" by taking a short cut in providing funds, always have a means to prove a transaction occurred (IMs/PMs/E-mails/Receipts etc.) and agree to have a timetable for deliver; this is something lots of people don't do. Put it in writing in the chat logs that the goods are to be delivered by such a date. Don't pay in cash, there's no paper-trail, and no method to get your money back (unless this is a face-to-face transaction).

Went to Lime Rock yesterday. Only got to stay for one race and missed the GT Series which I really wanted to see, disappointed. Here are some pics, there are more on my Flickr for those who are interested. Web colors suck, don't mind the lack of vibrance.

Supersprint. Your hypothesis of what did or did not happen 10 years ago have physically made me turn my spider sense on and find this tread and therefore I am morally obligated to respond.

I am NOT going to tell you what happened on that day because you are heavily biased against anything that has word conspiracy in it. What I will tell you is ... lets play a little game. We shall call it "word association".

Fill in the blank:

Kentucky Fried........
Monica.......
Mercedes......
Conspiracy......

Riiiiight... do you see the pattern? We all have pre-formed associations to certain keywords and one of those keyword is word "conspiracy" . When someone mentions that word we all think 2 things. #1 some nut out there trying to disprove something and #2 someone hiding something that seems outrageous thus feeding in #1.

I do not know how you came to your 9/11 conclusion but I beg you for your own sake go out there and find credible research. And no I do not mean the kind of research that comes from NIST that came out with 9/11 commission report. I mean credible research.

Morale of this story is that I do not want you to do something you do not want to do... but if you have time and patience then by all means try to figure out why half of this planet is strongly convinced that there were major shenanigans going on.

What will happen to the story is that it will be taught in school. And when it will be taught in school it will be passed on to future generations who will not even question anything. Heck my little sisters have just began learning about 9/11 and they have already formulated opinions based on what their teacher told them and it breaks my heart that I will have to wait until they are old enough to fully understand what went on to enlighten them to all details they have not learned in school.

Currently there are scientists, engineers, teachers, pilots, civilians and governments who are convinced that official story is false. And those are not your typical fatsos living in parents basement theorizing things on the web. These are credible people who find so many plot holes that it is mind boggling. It is hard not to find plot holes unless you intentionally chose to ignore them.

^THIS X100,000,000,000

Credible research? You mean the grueling research done by NIST isn't credible because its disproves everything that conspiracy theorists say? Gimme a break.

I know well and good the government isn't up front about things. But thing is, I HAVE looked into this, and that's my conclusion about it. I had these conspiracy thoughts in my head already, it's been 10 years. To tell me to go do research in "credible" resources is absurd. You have no idea what research I've done, which you've said. It appears you think credible is anybody who agrees with you, that's bullsh!t. I understand people think otherwise, that's fine. They don't have to agree, but all of the "evidence" they've brought forth, has been refuted by other "credible" scientists. So basically it's a standoff, which ends in this unknowing, which leads to people crying conspiracy.

So what then, how do you come to a conclusion. Well I use something called logic. By that I mean, Are you fvcking serious that you think a few top people decided to orchestrate a plan that involves terrorists hijacking 4 planes and running them into 3 buildings (meant for 4) and secretly planted powerful, yet oddly silent, explosives in 2 buildings? Seriously?

It's almost as ludicrous as believing some cosmic being controls how you and every other creature lives... oh wait.

BTW: I'll beat you to the punch on this one: we indeed landed on the moon.

ok so then your answer was c. none of the above. ok got it, and the bible isn't irrelevant. lets just stick to celica guys this topic is just going in circles.

First, you need to address who you're talking to. Second, did I miss a multiple choice question somewhere? And third, yes, it's completely irrelevant, and since I asked you to clarify or make a point, and you haven't, your posts are absolutely worthless.

BTW: Al Qaeda confirmed he was killed in the raid the other day.

Great, now we have conspiracy theorists who say either he was dead already or not dead at all. I promise you this, if he weren't dead you'd know by now.

What scientific evidence? The building didn't have to melt, it only had to buckle in the right places. Same with Building 7. It buckled. Jet fuel ignited fires, it didn't sustain them.

I'm not suspicious at all. I chalk that up to common sense. People can say they heard explosions, which is funny, because there were none. Eyewitness testimony is the least reliable of any. There were no seismic recordings of explosions, the buildings didn't fall straight down (they hit several buildings around them as they fell). The Marriott World Trade Center, 4 World Trade Center, 5 World Trade Center, 6 World Trade Center, and St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was practicall demolished. Besides, demolition uses implosion, not explosion.

This is all stuff that the National Institute of Science & Tech went over. Everything else is pure conjecture.

Some light reading:

I've spent way to much of my work day on trying to keep people from being pulled into nonsense. Those who think all this crap still are going to forever.

The Bible is irrelevant. Not sure why it's being brought up and it's certainly not the best argument. Explain your reasoning and perhaps we can have a proper argument about it. This isn't about religion, so you're point should certainly be able to be made with different subject matter.

Building 7 was damaged by falling debris and started a fire. Feel like I'm repeating myself here.

Lots of the steel in the buildings was recycled. Did you actually just say to put a building back together after it collapsed...?

When I first saw "Loose Change" it did bring up some questions, but then I did more research, and Loose Change is full of misinformation and conjecture. Explosive bits? Please tell me you're not talking about the Copenhagen guy who wouldn't let anybody else see the samples or confirm his findings.

Yes, people believe what they want to. That's the whole problem. They don't pay attention to facts and sound argument; they cover their ears and yell I CAN'T HEAAAAAAAAAAR YOUUUUUUUUUUU! If someone were to bring some sort of evidence to contrary that can be replicated and confirmed by multiple scientific processes then I can certainly change my opinion. But watching "Loose Change" and thinking you know something from some kid who started making the film based on fiction is a far cry from compelling evidence.

Just as we "knew" there were WMDs in Iraq? People were kept in the dark about his whereabouts, Al Qaeda included. Not to mention, if you ever watched say, Restrepo, the locals are scared sh!tless of these people. Sure, we bombed caves in Afghanistan... but look where he turned up. An affluent town deep in Pakistan. No where near where we were "bombing".

It's like the mafia, nobody talks to the police for fear of getting rubbed out.

You can't go in looking for blood and leave without it.

Obviously you can. That war in the 60s proved that.

I think Osama was not killed 2 days ago, i don't doubt that he may actually be dead, but it wasn't 2 days ago. The whole "omg 9/11 was all the government" conspiracy is BS, i mean its been almost 10 years and no one has found any hard evidence linking any government agency to the terrorists. Do I think the government had anything to do with it?no. Do i think they used it in their own best interests to invade the middle east.Yes.

What? I'm guessing that you mean the Vietnam War? That took place from '55 to '75, and we didn't go in looking for blood, we went in trying to prevent Communist take over of South Vietnam. There's a bit of a difference in there.

May I ask why you think Osama was not killed 2 days ago?

I'm calm and I don't have a problem with you at all. This is spirited discussion is all.

Building 7 was affected by the towers falling, and started fires. The end result was damage to structural integrity, causing the building to fall.

The Iraq invasion was based upon the idea that Hussein had weapons capable of mass destruction. He didn't; so that was the lie. I can't claim to know whether Bush knew of this or was just told of the misinformation. Whatever happened, it was bad intelligence and maybe some Bush, Sr. influence crept in. The end result was the death of Hussein, but the cost was pretty high considering the state of Iraq in the first place.

What was the real reason?

The war and the economy downturn are 2 separate occurrences, they aren't related. Pics will eventually link on to the internet, but can the conspiracy theories please stop?

economy has EVERYTHING to do with war good buddy, Economy = money Wars cost money... what dont we have at the moment? money. money into something more constructive than chasing a guy around and loosing 4400 american soliers on top of the people we lost on 9/11 aint worth that dirtbag bin laden. I just wont believe that the WTC can fall down on its self PERFECTLY after only burning a couple hours. not to mention several friends of mine live not too far from WTC, and they told me they heard the explosions THEN the building went down. but im not going to start with the conspiracy theories....

You just lost all credibility with me. You're one of those "Loose Change" believers huh?

In 2001 when we were attacked, we retaliated. The economy wasn't a factor in this decision. There wasn't a choice. 8 years later the economy takes a ****, and you what, want to up and leave the area? You can't just do that. You can't go in looking for blood and leave without it. We went in for Osama, and weren't going to leave until we had him. Iraq was bull****, we can all agree on that. Those 4400, well 4424 to be exact, were Operation Iraqi Freedom, not Operation Enduring Freedom, which was the Afghan mission. We lost 1,461 in Afghanistan. Those 4424 were unnecessary, and I was/am totally against going into Iraq. It was based on lies and that isn't up for debate.

You already started with conspiracy theories. There were NO explosives in the WTC, the buildings fell down, not perfectly, they fell. Did you want them to fall down like a tree or something? Do actually think the Pentagon was hit with a missile? You people say "don't believe what the government tells you" but you believe a video made by some kid from Oneonta, NY. I lived in Oneonta, or it's monicre: Stoneonta, and that's enough to keep me skeptical.

To seriously believe that the government had a hand in 4 planes being hijacked, 2 driven into the tallest buildings in NYC, killing thousands, just to what... start a war? Get oil? It's ludicrous. It's ludicrous to think such a terrible event was orchestrated by MANY people who didn't have a problem with it, and didn't come out and say YES this was all so-and-so's idea. Eyewitnesses said they heard explosions? Eyewitnesses see UFOs, Bigfoot, Nessie, ghosts, and what else have you on a daily basis.

Cliff notes: Osama is dead, we killed him. Why wasn't he already? Because a$$holes like that never die soon enough. 9/11 wasn't a conspiracy.

Your getting your information about the world on YouTube eh?

Soon to be depression? Are you aware that the jobless rate has been decreasing along with stock market rising? Perhaps YouTube isn't such a great idea.

Granted the government can be shady as all hell with ulterior motives, but it's just sad that people have to cry CONSPIRACY! every time something like this happens. It just falls on deaf ears now.

Does anyone know where we get most of our oil... Canada. Not the middle east. They're not even second.

Finally — do I believe the government on all this? Yes. I think they got a good tip on where he was, and they took him out without letting Pakistan know. I think SEAL team killed whoever they need to to kill him, and they dumped his piece of sh!t corpse in the ocean.

Interesting quote:

The sound should be the same or very similar for all 3 Scion FR-S / FT-86 cars since they all feature the same Boxer engine and exhaust setup.

Could this mean that there will be a Toyota FT-86, Scion FR-S, and Subaru... something or other?
