no spark still. I smell fuel and I'm getting fuel. Also wired up the clutch start correctly now but it does nothing, no crank so that's strange. Daniel sent me his other harness so I'm probably gonna swap out the harness and try a different cam and crank sensor off the parts BEAMS.

test for wire continuity. those soldered joints break

swap another crank sensor, and test them wires

I had to do your harness in a hurry so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a bad connection in it. I’d be happy to take it back and fix it if my other harness gets your car started.

but alas, she stayed stock.

then finally, coughed up some dough for some JDM tails from Vincent Doggy. best mod ever I think.
got those first, and then scoped around on ebay and found the JDM roof spoiler not too long after.

Just joined the forum and catching up with all projects. Just curious, what kind of tires did you have with these stock GT rims back then? They look pretty thick 215 or 205 and 60 or 65's as far as profile?

wow! that was such a long time ago. I don't remember too well but I'm pretty sure I just ran the suggested stock size which was 205/55.

I'm trying everything I can before I swap out harnesses. I really don't want it to be the culprit but it might be. Trying to get the crank sensor off the redtop but cannot break the crank bolt loose. lol I wont have anytime this weekend as we had a photoshoot yesterday, one more today, then the weekend spent with Mai See's mom and my mom for mother's day we'll see if I get time next week to figure this thing out.

Kinda dumb, but are you sure the harness is locked into the main fuse box in the engine bay?

My first swap in Abby, I didn't have the top arm thing in the locked position, and it would crank/no start.

I suppose this due for a update now that we're back in business up in this here forum.

BEAMS is back on jackstands awaiting a new harness and some GT brakes while we're at it. Old harness is just about off. I just gotta get under the intake mani and undo all those bolts and plugs underneath and swap it out. Hoping it will at least start so I know whats going on.

But other than that, it might be on hold for a bit. Mai See wants the blue coupe out of our yard so I've been stripping it to the bones and grabbing what I can off of it and working at the trans. All that's left on the car is the dashboard and engine/trans so it'll be pretty much fully stripped before heading to the junkyard.
