So progress was made

Background: RHD conversion with McPherson suspension. ST205 rack, ST205 K-frame, USDM inner and outer tie rods.

Tie rod thread pitch: M14 x 1.5
Carbon Hex die: M14 x 1.5 HEX outer size = 36mm
Dremel with reinforced cut off wheel and 80 grit sandpaper drum
standard ruler

This conversion requires 1.5" to be removed from the inner tie rods as the ST205 rack is longer than the USDM racks and mounts differently.

This is a completed shorted inner rod.
I used the dremel to cut off 1.5" then i used the die to cut 1.5" more threads farther down the rod. The die cuts the rod no problem as its the correct size for continual threading. I used the sanding drum attachment of the dremel to tapper down the end of the rod like OEM it was approximately ~3-4mm of rod or the equivalent of 3 threads.

Secondly.
I started the GT4 brake conversion

I used the drill bit and tap stated in TIGA's thread. however I also used a second drill bit that was slightly smaller than this one, as this one really bites into the knuckle and can pose challenges. So i stepped it up to this final size.

then i used a TAPPERED TAP (stated in TIGA's thread) and ran it all the way through.....the side you start on doesn't matter.

I also have the bolts for the thread size.....but what nobody has mentioned you need to drill the caliper as well to accommodate the larger bolts
SOOOO the drill bit you bought (33/64th) to tap the knuckle will not be big enough to drill the caliper to fit the bolt.
This is as far as i've gotten.
more to come later

Ah! some how I never saw your thread on this?!
Had I known that M14 x 1.5 would have worked as well I probably would have gone with that. #lazyfollowingTigawoods

So thats why my bit fit perfectly through my caliper haha. I guess mine were already drilled thanks to Culpable.
Ill add that to the thread. Thanks for pointing that out man

Lazy and didn't update my thread.

GT4 calipers + BRZ rotors. Calipers will get cleanedup

with my shiney BCracing RM coilovers

Will be replacing this rotor with DBA 2-piece lightweight rotors.

Also all my parts came in from RockAuto for the caliper rebuild.

Cleaned up the interior of all the junk and put all the bolts in a single container ect.
Going to sand blast the interior and engine bay and repaint soon as it gets warm.

ST205 RHD Body harness

Something doesn't look quite right here....

ST205 RHD Dash harness

Just moved to a new place so getting everything situated...more fun to come in the next week or so with Harnesses and such.
I have to figureout the damage around that main plug on the body harness and get it repaired.

will be plasting and painting the engine bay and front frame hopefully within the next week or two.

Laid the primer down and stunk up my house ha.
You can also see the notches that I cut out to epoxy the nuts into the frame for the motor mount conversion
