Also does anyone have the 3 point Jspeed rear strut bar? any comments about it?

I have one, is VERY light, made out of alluminum, as with any strut bar, it increases the in cabin noise, but it's very solid, I can't give you a review on this peice on particular as I installed it along with suspension tech sway bars, TRD springs, KYB shocks/ struts new bushings, and Front strut bar. so I obviusly notice a difference lol. but this bar keeps the rear really rigid. I'd recommend it.

So what's better, the OEM or the Cusco OS style for rear tower bars? I have an OEM installed (with cover and covers blah blah), and i picked up the cusco the other day. don't really feel like pop and swapping to see which is better as my lower suspension isn't exactly track ready.

same performance from both

they are both 2 point bars, just one looks fancier than the other, the only real upgrade from a 2 point is a 3 point bar either custom made or J-speed.

Just so everyone is aware... the bolting for the middle connection point on the TRD 3-point strut tower brace (front) is M10 x 2.5cm or M10 X 1.25in (Home Depot for $1.65 for a 2pk). This will use a 13mm socket head.

I know the american st(at200) and gt(st204) are essentially the same body but what about the other cars like the st202 and st205, pretty much what im asking is can you put the strut bar from a gt4 on an american st(at200)

It likely won't clear the hood. Strut bars for the ST205 were designed to clear the TMIC, which an ST202/204 doesn't have. You'll need an ST205 hood, or some other aftermarket hood, or maybe spacers on your factory hood (not sure that would gain enough clearance)

after looking at it for a while i figured it out. There are two different Laile Beatrush 3 point front strut bars for our chassis. The ST202 and ST205, each having their own part #

The ST202 version has a lower arch because it doesn't need to clear anything, while the ST205 has the arch more pronounced in order to clear intercooler.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/PRE-ORDER-Beatrush...slf&vxp=mtr

on side note. C-One makes two types of ST202 3 point front strut bars. 1st version is flat in design across the engine bay that connects each strut tower (like the TRD design) without a polished finish. 2nd version ST202 is polished has a more pronounced arch (Lewfx Member) and is hollow in design (more rigid).

I was tempted to buy a trd bar on yahoo japan auction but noticed after shipping it would be nearly $360. for that price your better off with the laile design.

After a long read here, I currently owns TRD front bar I paid a ton for 5 years ago. As well as an RT-P rear strut bar (3 pt). These additions to a otherwise stock vehicle have increased the fun level substantially. If considering adding stiffness, DO IT!!!

I was wondering about the difference between the 2 BeatRush strut bars. I'm guessing the ST202 bar would be ok if running a front mount intercooler versus the standard top mount.

ive seen the st205 version in person on a 5s motor with a gt4 front end body panel swap. the st202 version has more rigidity because the arch isnt as high because not intercooler mount like the GT4.

ebay lists both version and you can tell by the pics how each arch at different points

it's interesting how the ST202 is $20 more than the ST205 version.
