Just in time for winter I got a set of seat heaters off eBay to install in the vert. It ran me about $70 for a set of two that will heat the bottom and back of the seats, with complete wiring harness. Overall I'm pretty pleased with them, they take a few minutes to heat up but then keep my ass nice and toasty.

The kit came with two pads, the wiring harness, a fuse and holder, a relay, and a 3-way switch, for each seat.

I ran a 4ga. wire from the battery into the passenger compartment, under the carpet and out under the passenger seat. I'm going to be running an amp off this later, so I got a little distribution block and ran the hot leads for the seats to it.

I ran all the wires from driver's side under the center console to the passenger side.

I decided to put the switches in the center console behind the ashtray, so i had to drill a couple holes for them, 1/2" if I recall. If i could do it again, I would have placed them just slightly more forward.

The next step was to take the seats out, and remove the covers. I used WannabeGT4's How-to

The heating pads have self-adhesive strips on them so you can just stick them on there

.

I just ran the wires out of the back of the seats and secured them with zip ties to the underside. Each pad has a connector that locks into the harness.
I probably spent about 2 hours running all the wiring, and another 2-3 with the seats. The second seat went much faster.

I will probably end up running the power for them to something that is only on with the key on. If you accidentally forgot to turn them off you could easily kill the battery.
