Ok so i have my engine light on and i tried to figure out the code by connecting E1 & TE1 but my check engine light didnt blink like it was supposed to. My car is a st with obd2 and the 3s obd1 this coukd be causing the light not to flash is there a differ method to read the check engine light codes? Because i tried the ecu scanner and couldnt detect any codes.

Sounds like whoever did your swap wiring didn't wire in the diagnostic connector correctly. You won't be able to use the code reader either. You can put a switch on the te1 and e1 wires coming out of the ECU instead... Someone here did a write up a few years back. It might be in the stickies.

yup, it was art. (lagos)

unfortunately, he dont do it at the ecu, but in the engine bay.
the idea is the same though, and would work exactly the same doing it near the ecu.
just use the 3rd gen pinout diagram, and ground out the TE1 signal.

If you want a picture of suspension parts......

Hi Lads,

Is it possible to replace the bushing only on the front lower control arm ?
The arm pictured with one bush and two ball joints ?
If there is no direct replacement (Polyeuethen or spurious) is there a retro fit equivalent from and make / model ?
I've an ST205 going through the equivalent of the MOT in Ireland and badly stuck to change this out, but a replacement arm is 600 !!
Thanks for any help
Tom

I just did a 3sgte swap everything is OK but the ECU won't let the engine start, the engine shooting right even electrical even the fuel but the ECU probably cut it off. Why? Or maybe plus that the right cooler fan starts alone when I turn the key to ignition , does count if I don't have dumb valve plugged and I have only the anti lag valve (wrc version)

Cheapest way is to order them through this guy. He seems legit and I think a lot of people are using them. If you do happen to find out how to just swap the bushes/balljoints PLEASE let the rest of us know.

Hope that helps a bit.
