I, because of my asian-ness got tailed once or twice a month for no apparant reason from high school til the end of college. but now that i'm older and my celi's all done up and probably looks more "illegal" than it did in the past, no cops bother me. lolll -------------------- *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |

To be fair, I told him to use a heat gun or blow dryer, and mentioned that I had some luck in the past with light condensation by using my high beams as much as possible.

same. i had light condensation in my old OEM highs and actually took the bulb out and took a blowdryer to the inside to get rid of most of it and then left my high beams on as well.

Today I ordered the last of the parts to freshen up my newest Redtop, and it should be in the car in a few weeks.

It's been a while since I've done anything to the car. Put a few interior pieces together. Test fitted my rear hatch visor, bought riser blocks along with a gt-four rear strut bar, and waiting to hear back to see if there's any gt-four bumper in stock. SLOWLY coming along....damn winter months

Finally finished diagnosing and fixing the messed up cooling fan wiring from the previous owner. I now have two working cooling fans and a working blower inside. The car is such a wiring hack job in places... I'd prefer to start this project with oem wiring and things working the way Toyota meant them to work.

And spent this weekend tacking the stumbling/hesitation issue. Cleaned and resealed the injectors, pulled the injector harness section from under the valve cover, replace the distributor rotor that was rather corroded, swapped out the ignition wires with a spare used set, replaced spark plugs. Not sure which thing actually fixed it, but all of it really needed to be done anyways. just over a 100 miles without a hick-up. Time to try and run it through emissions, not always that easy here in AZ. Might still swap the fuel filter soon, probably the air filter as well.

They got Indiana plates when they bought their house. Before then, they both lived and Illinois and the original RICHEE3 plate was in IL plate.

Troof. There’s been a few different plates on the car, from the OG RICHEE3 to the current NTASPRA.
Then it moved to the IS and GOVEG went on the Celica. Then RICHEE3 went to the Z, the Celica got painted and stayed GOVEG before getting NTASPRA. Then RICHEE3 went to the Supra briefly before getting switched to the Indiana replica RICHEE3, and that’s how both plates still are to this day because I haven’t gone through the effort of dealing with emissions to switch to Colorado plates. Anyway, I hope you learned a little more on this very dull drip down memory lane! -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
