Date: Saturday, June 19, 2004
Time: 1 pm - 5:00 pm
Locations: Lake Merced Parking Lot + cruise stops

Agenda:
11:00am to 1:00pm - Lunch at Chevy's (Stonestown Galleria)
1:00pm to 3:00pm - Meet at Lake Merced
3:00pm to 5:00pm - Cruise

Cruise Information:
Quote SFGT: dchan8 has finished planning the cruise, which is similar to last year's SF cruise, but with an extra stop. For those who are pressed for time, feel free to leave at any of the cruise stops. Here're the directions:

Cruise Stop 1 - Stow Lake
1. Make a right to exit the Lake Merced parking area
2. Stay on right lane, cruise around the perimeter of Lake Merced
3. Make right on John Muir Drive (to stay on the perimeter of Lake Merced)
4. Right onto Skyline Blvd (keep in mind we are still cruising around the lake) get onto LEFT Lane
5. Keep going until we reach a stop sign
6. At the stop sign, make a left onto the Great Highway
7. At the first stop sign after the end of the Great Highway, make a right.
8. Follow the road, at the first stop sign, make a left.
9. Go straight – past the buffalos, picnic areas, and under the bridge
10. Pull to the right side of the road to make sure everyone has caught up
11. Next stop sign, make a right to enter Stow Lake – park on the left side and meet there

Cruise Stop 2 - Cliffhouse
1. Follow the road, make a LEFT to exit Stow Lake
2. Go past about 2 stop signs and make a RIGHT at the stoplight
3. Go straight until we reach Ocean Beach, make a RIGHT
4. Go past Ocean Beach and head up the hill towards the Cliffhouse
5. At the stoplight, make a left onto El Camino Del Mar, go towards the end of the parking lot and meet there

Cruise Stop 3 - Presideo Army Museum Parking Lot
1. Come out of El Camino Del Mar and make the first left onto Seal Rock Drive
2. Seal Rock Drive becomes Clement
3. Stay on Clement until we hit 34th Ave
4. Make left onto Legion of Honor Drive
5. Drive through Legion of Honor, make a right to go back down the hill on El Camino Del Mar
6. Stay on El Camino Del Mar and we will enter the Presidio
7. Street becomes Lincoln Blvd
8. We go up the hill, underneath Golden Gate Bridge, and down the hill
9. We pass the San Francisco National Cemetery, pass Lincoln Blvd, pass the Army Museum,
10. Reach Griart Blvd and meet in the lot there

South Bay Pre-Meets: Great Mall --> Valley Fair --> Lake Merced

There are two pre-meet locations. The first pre-meet location is at Great Mall in Milpitas at 10:00 AM. Roll out is at approximately 10:15AM to arrive at the second pre-meet location, Valley Fair in Santa Clara by 10:30AM. Than it's up 280 N. to the Stonestown Galleria for lunch.

Yeah, I'm back down here in SD. I left Vallejo around 1PM on Sunday. I might come back up next month. I didn't even get a chance to visit my grand ma.

I'd like to talk to some people with swapped celicas, see how they got it passed the CA smog test and whatnot. I'll come if I can somehow escape my house long enough (I'm only 16).

Aww...no love from my 6gc brothas and sistas. Anyway, I hope some of you folks can come out this Saturday. So far there is about 33 expected to show maybe even more. Please visit the links in the first post for details.

Considering this has been posted for over a month, I'm sorry you missed it too. biggrin.gif It was a great turn out. About 29 celicas showed up and a few were non-celicas. There was a caravan from Sacramento and Santa Clara. One guy even came up from San Diego that morning just to join us. Much luv there. I was crushed not to see any other generations show up.
