I need to know how much work and what I would need to do to put this Turbo for a Corolla on a 94 Celica ST

http://www.turbo-kits.com/corolla_turbo_kits.html

Would it be cheaper to custom turbo or try to fit this one on. This is the first car I am doing performance on. Even though it is an ST I really like this car and want to upgrade it. If you have any other ideas or any other turbos that might be better please post them for me. I am open for suggestions.

Those are some pretty good prices; but I'd still do a custom turbo.. You might run into trouble in weird areas.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too much different, but possibly some piping issues. I'm not a big fan of the T25 either, but, depending on what kind of application i.e. daily driver or race/track...That's just my two cents..

I say do a custom T3 Setup.. By doing this you will not have to just keep saving all your money and then spend it on a kit that you will have to modify... By going custom you can just make a list of the parts you need and buy them one at a time whenever you wish.. This is what iam in the process of doing... Buying a part, saving up a little money, buying another part.. Just my opinion

Well, I have got some money coming in and it is enough to buy this system and install it. I just want to know what would be a good set up for an st. I really dont want to swap engines. The most I really want to do is get the engine ready for turbo and put turbo on. Not really going to push this thing to be a monster of a car or anything just wanna boost it a little. any suggestions.

Right now I have a short ram, a muffler (dont know why i did that but it is soon to be a exhaust system). And soon I will have 7afe corolla header and a pulley. But I want a little more power.

try the link again

his setup consists of a t3 turbo(garret airesearch model)
12:1 fmu
walbro 255lph pump
safc2
custom downpipe
oil feed line kit from jgs tools
custom return line
decent sized fmic and metal piping with a ebay BOV
check valves for the MAP
turboxs boost controller

i might have left some things out, but it used to be my setup, and im the guy that made that parts list that is in the first link.

when it was my setup i ran 8psi and had the SAFC2 tuned a little bit by myself and driving on the road.

it hauled ass, and i was running a SMIC and plastic piping.

8psi on a t3 is pretty different than 8psi on a t25 setup. it takes less boost on a bigger turbo to make the same power as a smaller turbo.

The Second Site does not work and will not work ever again.. I talked to JGS and they discontinued the making of the 7afe manifold.. From now on you are going to have to buy one of their kits and make it yourself.. I know it sucks..

Well as of now I am basically getting all the money I need all at once next spring. Right now I am just doing research and lots of it. Getting parts list. I was referd to a book called Forced Induction. Anyway I pretty much wanted to know if the corolla Turbo kit would be good because I dont want to make really fast or anything just looking to mabey get the Hp over 200. Well if anyone has anyother links or book that you want to refer to me please post them. The help is appreciated. By the way right now it looks like I might go custom but their is still more reasearch and decision making to do. I will try to keep updated.

Not sure if you're gonna be able to hit 200 whp with the 7afe without MASSIVE work..

well what do you think would be best Turbo current engine or do a 4agze swap compaing cost and final performance.

4age blacktop swap, then turbo... or 3s; but 4a is easier
