what the diffrents on the 93 5s and the 96 5s.......................
Doge
nothing that matters... they are the same thing
Shigexile
so if i wanted to put parts from a MR2 5S into the celica, it doesn't matter? Like headers or something?
recneps
nope headers wont fit because of the way the engines are mounted

and there IS a difference in the 93 5sfe and the 96 5sfe. the 96 has more aggressive cams.
Doge
Ok I admit it... I got owned.gif

There are also some minor differences in the block and head like oil passages. A 96 motor will work in a 93 you just cant mix and match the head and block.

dont the 96+ come with obd II
recneps
i forgot when they switched to obd II but i think it was around mid 97. or somewhere around there.

We got a winner!!!

Ive had a 92 head on my 95. They fit.

Cams were more agressive but its said to possibly be the shims then the Celica gen changed.

95 is rumored to have a stronger crank than the others also.

All hear say.
