I am waiting to hear back from the few harness people that i have just done to confirm....... but i am pretty sure i figured out the problem.

If you dont have the ac working in your swapped car you can pm or aim me and i can walk you through how to fix the wiring to get it working.

3SGTE AC Fix

Plug IM1(behind glove box)
Im1 #1 goes to E8A # 21
Im1 #2 goes to E8A # 10
Im1 #3 goes to AC #3
Im1 #4 goes to AC # 1
Im1 #5 goes to AC # 2
Im1 #6 taps into II1 # 3 and to IG1 # 14
Im1 #7 goes to EA8 # 7


AC Plug (from the compressor)
ac plug #1 goes to IM1 # 4
ac plug #2 goes to IM1 #5
ac plug #3 goes to IM1 # 3
ac plug #4 taps into EA1 # 10

Im pretty sure when Doge got his swap done his A/C worked just fine coming from a alltrac clip.

thats because doge did his wiring differently then we did. he is using 2 harnesses and only rewired the basic stuff that had to be done and left everything else stock.

Is there something wrong with doing that?

nothing "wrong" with it, but you have 2 harnesses and 2 fuse boxes in your engine bay. this makes for a messy bay with lots of clutter.

so, once we have the ac wiring done. does anyone know what needs to be done to recharge the ac system? does it need bleeding?

You need to put your car on a vac pump for a hour or so and get the system completely pumped down..... then you test its ability to hold pressure,,,, if it is good then you recharge your ac system with new coolant

It is actually really easy to do but will cost you a bunch !!!

134a is prob universal, i believe the R is just for refridgerator/-ant...
