it went in the shop Tuesday... went by today to bring them a few more parts and so i took some pics

What was wrong with your old engine?

Ayers Autobody (friend from church) and he has one mechanic.



The old engine spun a rod bearing in december.. so my friend and i rebuilt it, but didn't machine the crank or put oversized bearings in... well a few weeks ago, the engine just died again.. so we are thinking those bearings didn't sit right.

so I just went with a remanufactured one so its a new engine with a 3 year 100,000 mile warrenty.

Congrats! You are a good man to get her back on the road.

back on the road.. got the car back today.. so far its running great..

Awesome! Glad to hear that you got the troubles sorted out. That motor looks pristine.

Just remember.....with a fresh new motor, boosting it is always an option.

I wish.. but my parents told me I can't open this engine.. its gonna stay new and untouched.. They just dont' want me to go through this trouble again..

and I can understand... so my only shot for boost was the 3sgte.. but didn't end up getting one..
