Maybe its just because i've never removed my intake manifold but what is this on the end?
I guess i've never noticed that extra piece of metal... Looks like another flange. For extra torque?

if not...spacer? but that idea sounds majorly ****ing stupid for a toyota

it actually looks like an adaptor. Are you sure that IM is stock?

That IS an adapter. That Intake Manifold is a first gen 4AGE intake manifold mainly used to swap onto Black/Red tops. People use these with their Red Top swap since the throttle body is facing the wrong way. Besides that, they go Individual Throttle Bodies.

I would agree with Exsane since that little hole in the IM looks like a hole where a sub-injector went for cold start.

That's a smallport 4AG intake manifold with a smallport/bigport adaptor. This looks like one of nik's pictures...
