Ok, after a few hours, i was finally able to install this. Not easy. took most of the car apart.

then, the spacers provided, were not good, or they did not fit properly, and were to high. so i made my own spacers.

and the final look. For some reason it does not look that short. But i like th shifting. Its diferent. I used one of the craps from ebay, by the way....

What do you guys think...

i think it looks good other than the original shift boot bring squashed, make a custom short one =)

did you buy just any ebay 7th gen shifter?

Yeah, got to be careful with ebay stuff. A lot of it is complete crap.

If you want to get a short boot, I pulled one from a mid 90's accord and sewed the wire clip into it (as high in as I could) and it is perfect.

the shifting improved tremendously. I have a new boot (OEM) but it needs some custom stiching. biggrin.gif . I just havent had time to take it.

Yes i got it from ebay for 40 bucks. It aint bad for the price...
