Just wondering if I need to gap the NGK Iridium Spark Plugs that I have. Thanks

I'm sure the spark plugs you got for your car are already pre gapped. I've only had to gap my spark plugs when I turbo'd my car.

Actually they say not to cause the tip is so fragile but I've actually gotten 1 out of an unopened pack of 4 that was a slightly different gap before - I just took it back and exchanged it.
I'd just double check the gap and be careful with the tip.

Great. Thanks. I'l double check each before I install them.

Yeah they come pre-gapped.

oops sorry, I didn't take into consideration that it was the iridium spark plugs. If thats the case you SHOULDNT gap them because the tip is lasered.

Thanks!

Why exactly does the tip prevent them from being gapped?
The side electrode is what is adjusted, not the tip.
Assuming you're not thumb fingered the electrode is easily adjusted if need be.

You should always check the gap to be sure.
I always end up having to gap mine.
Never had a problem with the tips, though I use the right tool and know what I'm doing.
