ok just got done putting my 3rd gen map in, been running the 2nd gen map for a bit now...i do have a st205 motor and ecu...so yeah clearing that up now...on my 2nd gen map i can boost fine but i bogg out at like 5500rpm and it climbs up again and then boggs..i have put a third gen map in, off my buddys mr2..and my car ran fine..now that i have my own when try to boost..i dont boost and im running hella lean!!!damn it scared the living crap out of me.. here is the part number 8942020310-100798310050v..any clue of what could be the problem??
it is the right map sensor...but have no clue why i cant boost hard and run hella lean when i do..ooh yeah i did reset the ecu too..

first try reseting the a/f ratio.
I think the ECU will have to relearn the correct map sensor, give it a day or 2.

Pull the efi fuse or disconnect the battery for a few min to clear the ecu.

It could be the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator. My car is starved for fule from 5k upwards. Im fitting a 255ltr/h fuel pump and controlling the fuel with an Apexi neo to sort it out.

i have a wablro 255 and a turbo xs fpr hooked up...fuel pressure is fine...i think its because the ecu doesnt know what its doing righ tnow..ill wait and see tomorrow after i drive it to work and back..ill have to test it then..

using it for the time being..drove the car this morning..i guess the ecu does have to relearn how to work again..mr2 guys just told me to everytime i run the car to reset the ecu..cause since i had the 2nd gen map on there for so long..it caused the ecu to adjust to the 2nd gen map...

I was about to say that the Honda chrome you had was tuned on your 2 bar map sensor instead of the 2.5 bar yu should be using. But since your ecu is relearning everything your golden.

i wish my ecu would learn this crap faster havent notice anything..but car is down till next summer turbo up grade and everything else might end up putting money and motor into a mr2..well see

If you reset the ecu and you still have the problem, I would look at your fpr.

so the big crack in the dp was causing the wideband to read lean and everything was just fine, correct ?
lesson for everyone: don't buy cheap ebay dp, it is junk.
