TBH, I didn't have hands on experience, coz I am still waiting for the Silver one to come.
Anybody here know how easy to install one?
DEATH
Oct 23, 2008 - 8:43 AM
Very easy. If it takes you more than 5mins you have no mechanical skill whatsoever. 1/10 in difficulty.
Main thing is don't try to torque it down too much. Stock socket size is 10mm - 4 bolts.
BTW - That is super nice and the price is awesome too.

Yup - 4 to be exact. Easiest way is to put some toothpaste or similar on the tips of the bolts, center the wing and touch the bolt tips to the car - drill thru toothpaste to find center

Maybe if they used some high quality clips that positioned it over the front vents. Or even that coupled with 3M double sided tape (just like on the roof spoilers).

Plus I think even 3m tape is likely to give way when bombing it down the freeway. A bit of masking tape on each side of the hood, drill through the tape first with a 3mm drill then successfully larger until at the correct size for the bolts. Nothing to worry about - easy. If you are doing it to a metal hood, take the hood off the car first - you don't want bits of metal filings kicking around the engine bay.

Instead of being stolen or fly away while crusing in Highways...
So, pls kindly drill on the hood instead of 3M tape...
I discussed with supplier regarding how to put the screws in those four attach points... and finally got it done...
Pls don't ruin this beautiful things...
