christian set it up, but asked us not to impliment it...then he went away.

however, there IS a disclaimer involved.


the basic rule of the chatroom is this:

just about anything goes.

as long as your not posting porn, your pretty much good.


also, the swear filter is non existant in the chat room.

now look, just cause there isnt alot of rules, dont mean its a free pass to turn into an instant ass in the chat, or to start threatening people or any of that stuff, we still expect you to control yourselfs to some extent, we just felt we needed to have a place where we can all let loose a little, to help keep the site fresh and inviting.

Fyi,
I just fixed some bugs so the chat should work a bit better now. No longer will users get kicked off frequently for posting lots of messages. Also, URLs no longer have the ":/" in the http:// converted to smilies. And the sidebar on the chat page should load while the chat is loading, instead of after.
