Trying to figure out what the in the hell is up here. Got a snap on mt2500 so I can read live data from the motor. Idle is around 5 degrees advance at temperature. Also noting Wide open throttle maxes out at 80% reading from the TPS. Also lean code from engine. Looks like I need to advance the timing by 5 degress and move the tps?

no, check timing with a timing light correctly, theres a how-to.

TPS could be a loose throttle cable or crap below your gas pedal.

verify the throttle is opening 100% by having someone step on the gas, while you watch the TB.
watch the throttle plate open as they press the gas, then once its floored make sure you cant open the throttle any more using the throttle wheel on the TB itself.

Nah just tensioned the cable. Still gonna check some stuff. As for the light wouldn't it be better to give the ecu what it wants? as in the read out it receives since it will govern the timing?

Working on that plan too pressure. It's weird it is throwing a lean code too and just not acting right.
