We have Several members with outstanding issues with projectinprogress.
guys paying for authentic c-one kits, getting crappy invader kits, or nothing at all.
everyone who has an outstanding issue, please post here, so that we can collect all the data in one spot.
here is what i have so far.
Promasta paid for an authentic c-one kit, got an invader (promasta, please post the details of your transaction here.)
95celGT also paid for the same authentic c-one kit on the 10th with nothing yet.
these are not 10, or even 100$ transactions.
and zoomzoom who is waiting on a refund.
and TRDproven
guys, its a buyer beware world out there, you've got to do your research.
i warned you all about this guy when he first joined, and started selling the HID's, but you guys fought me on it, so he stayed.
he is not a part of this community, he is just here to make money off you guys.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but there have been some that have had great results with him. If he can get us parts for a really good price, would he be making money off us, or would he be giving us a good deal? Just my point of view. Didn't mean to go off topic, but I think that should be considered too.

Common way of scamming people is making a few happy, burn the rest. Easier to scam when you have a couple people spreading that word that your good to go. Line it up, walk out the door with the change in hand. Or he could simply just been irresponsible with his stocking and funding. Either way, hes scammed, and it needs to be investigated. Regardless of his positives.
I seriouslly doubt just because someone on ebay has 485683945 Positive feedback, and all a sudden they scam you for 500+ you'd be like ah its cool, everyone else has been happy with ya.

I purchased what was supposed to be an Authentic C-ONE aero kit from James one and a half months ago. He said he could not send pics because he was too lazy to open the boxes, but he showed me the invoice which showed that the kit came from Japan and he paid $1500. The invoice looked legit, but now that I think about it, it did not have any shipping costs so now I realize he just made up that receipt. What I received was one of those crappy invader kits from ebay. The thing is, he said the kit was in his warehouse in Florida. The kit I received came straight from California, he didn't even see it. It is impossible that he mixed the kits up. I gave him money, he bought a kit off ebay or whatever for cheap and had it shipped directly to me, and he made a profit. I can not think of any possible way this is not a scam. For the last month I have been trying to fix this, but I can only get a hold of his wife. Her excuses in the last month have been: First his mom died, then his dad died, then he was on jury duty and was not allowed to contact anyone for three weeks. Apparently while trying to contact me from the motel he was in he got caught and was put in jail for a number of days. Eventually the trial ended, but he could not contact me because there was a problem with 6gc.net. His wife will never answer the phone, everytime I call she won't answer but will text me back and tell me these excuses. Now James is dying.
I know you warned me presure2, but he had a bunch of feedback and his receipt looked legit, **** it, its $800, I'll work some overtime.
95celGT, you're not getting that kit buddy.
And I got to mention, everybody in that other thread better regret what they said, saying that I wrecked their day and I deserve to die and trying to get me banned, you guys are sending your prayers to some guy you don't even know, who's dying in the hospital yet is browsing craiglist ads. ****.

First of all, I have most of the information of the participants (i.e. first, last names, phone numbers, email and IP addresses) but because I do not want to publicly flame anybody I will use just the first names for the time being. Just in case I am completely wrong but i seriously doubt it.
I will leave it for you to decide:
About two months ago I was looking for replacement for black carpet. I wanted to buy either OEM or OEM spec replacement (pre-cut, plastic seals under the door sills). I was contacted by projectinprogress who said he was a middle man for a guy (his name was allegedly J.J.) who had carpet for sale. After a numerous exchanges of PMs to make sure the carpet was exactly what I was looking for I paid $240 to J.J. wife's account (her name was Elizabeth). The carpet came and it was cheap aftermarket knock-off. It came directly from a warehouse which sells it online for around $150.
I have immediately contacted him and requested refund. No need to say that I was turned down based on fact that he was allegedly just a "middle man".
I have filed dispute with Paypal and because they suck they closed it without an investigation. I didn't hesitate and contacted my credit card company and filed a fraud report.
Now I found out that, allegedly, projectinprogress is in hospital after a car wreck and his wife (who's name happens to be Elizabeth, what a coincidence) posts this info for him? I do not believe a word in that posting!
As you can notice I have boldened every "allegedly" in this post. What I believe is that there is no J.J. and projectinprogress and his wife are running major scam here on 6gc.
As of now I have what is called "conditional refund" from my credit card company. If I get my money refunded I will probably choose not to take any legal action. If for some reason i will not get my money back I WILL get cops involved and file police report!

I got in contact with him about 2-3 weeks ago said he had 2 kits and sold one already, said he would wait for me to get the money, so i get the money and tell him to get some pics, his reply was that they were ready to ship from his warehouse in florida sent me pics of the boxes and the invoice with his name on the original shipping label....paid him and last thing he said was that the shipping would be delayed until monday.... i have all the pm's and i noticed on my paypal that the money went to california as well as the tracking number comming from california but still says it hasnt been sent out....i know this story is missing plenty of details but i have a job that doesnt allow for enough free time to really do something about this.....

I would like to note that though I did get my HID kit from him, he sold me an EXTREME HID kit for 75 dollars, when you can go to their website for 57. The pictures he had of the kits on this thread were not the kits that I received. These are cheap looking kits (that work, so far [4 weeks]), but they were definitely not the kits he had listed in his thread.

He hasn't done anything to me, because I asked for more detail and never got what I thought was legit proof of sale. We need not go into further details. Plus I'm sure the more you type up crap, its just going to hurt your case when it does come around.
The simple fact of the matter is, you guys can only take him to small claims, which if he doesn't show up, they'll eventually sweep it under the carpet. Its pretty much a loss, this is why I didn't continue. You possibly can get him for electronic fraud, but that is going to have to involve a collection of people, and alot of correct information. Instead of the fraudulant thats been spewn on here.
To the ones that did get screwed, just let his dumbass family keep on typing out this crap. Print it, save it. They'll get'em eventually.
Regardless of if he did have an accident or not, hes a pathetic human being for scamming honest people of their money. Hopefully when he gets caught on the next big game, and has to serve time for fraud, his ass will be healed up enough for bubba to wreck it agian. Have a nice day gentlemen, I take my leave from this thread. BTW, if you guys need any help finding him, get me his real name, and I'll get you his real address.

So instead of politely clearing things up you go onto make empty threats and act like a true a sshole. The only people who will be visiting you, your wife, your brother, whoever you are, is the police.
This is the internet, you can talk sh!t up a wall but it really means absolutely nothing. What's going to happen is that the police are going to get involved because whoever you are, you're stealing and scamming, which is a crime.

if you read my post earlier I was trying to play nice but because this guy is turning into real a sshole here is some information I have found so far:
Please try to double-check my findings they might not be 100% correct.
The only solid facts I have are his wife's name, her Paypal address and his cell number the rest is deduction based on the fact that his last name should be Williams as well.

Paypal address: nurselizzy@yahoo.com (IP address 71.79.238.120)
There is also another email registered under the same IP jeckskates@yahoo.com (was allegedly J.J.'s email)
Hope all this is of any help. If you report him to FBI cybercrime division, I do not think you will not need all that info, I believe that they can pull all the info from her Paypal address.

Patheticadness of the situation is that paypal is a huge scam for those who fall easy prey to people who know how to work it. I have been scammed through paypal twice really really big for a total sum of $3800 ish give or take a couple hundred dollars.
I would advise people to do 3 things when purchasing anything from anyone.
#1 Scout out people before buying like pressure2 said.
#2 Never purchase anything from anyone with 0 rating or from people who have just mysteriously popped up out of nowhere.
#3 When possible use means of payments that can be retracted (ie credit card).
#4 Paypal, Western Union, Money Orders have some of the highest probability of being a perfect pathway to scam the crap out of you and get away with it.
Also.. for those who have texted and or otherwise communicated with this fruit. Do keep in mind that he could be using a fake name, fake email, pay to use phone that is likely untraceable and or provided information could have been wrong. Paypal and similar services are easy to hack and money that you transfered was given to a mule account.
I was scammed twice on paypal. That feeling sucks so I fully sympathize with you. Only in my case paypal went na na na na na. Someone paid for things I was selling, got the package and retracted payment. Paypal did not even think twice about charging my account. They just did it and told me to go suck it. I have not been using paypal since
