Full Version: why does my car lock up and start jerking as soon as i hit 3000 rpms?

this started last night and it almost got me in a wreck. someone plz help me to find a possible reason for this. its like as soon as i hit 3000 rpms it stops and i hear a popping noise from where the headers are then it like starts jerking and it dont let me accelerate. idk what it could be.

below are the things i usually inspect:
- Collapsed PCV Hoses.
- PCV Valve Plugged or Damaged PCV Valve
- Fuel Injector Dirty or Worn Fuel Injectors
- Fuel Filter Clogged or Dirty Fuel Filter
- Accelerator Pump Diaphragm Damaged
- Spark Plug Fouled, Damaged or Broken
- Throttle Position Sensor Faulty or Incorrectly Connected Throttle Position Sensor
- Faulty Fuel Pump
- Low Fuel Pressure
