Me:
also what year was it ? is it OBD1 or 2, and are you including the wirelimb in the pic? if it's obd2 I can't use it anyway, or the distributor. but I may still want the motor.
I was going to have Smaay do a full rebuild on the one he's got, but I may buy yours instead. I'll have my mind made up and be ready to go the first week of September.
Drumbum:
Its OBDII but you get everything in the photos... The intake is not in the photos... But the Injen Intake is basically new so everything and the Injen Intake is $300
Me:
everything but the transmission right? I mean i'll take that too if it's included.
i'll probably get a whole new oil pump and do the timing belt and water pump kit while we've got it out unless you've done that <20k miles ago.
ya shipping from St Louis to KC is a whole lot better than from Cali to KC, I think I've already made up my mind.
unless somebody snaps it up in the next two weeks ill be calling ya back.

Drumbum:
Im looking for local pickup... I can possibly have it in St. Louis on the 23.. Otherwise I'm looking at scrapping it... That will save you the 2.5 additional hours to Carterville
Me:
I'm willing to pay the shipping the whole way from your house, we can get freightquote.com to do that. they will come pick it up from you all you need is a pallet of some sort.
I told them it was 30x30x30, 430 lbs, and class 70, I got quotes as low as $277. that's for them to come to your house with a lift-gate truck and get it.
keep that thing for a few more weeks and I'll buy it. thumbsup.gif
Even if you wanted to say you misunderstood me, Why would I pay the same price after all the extra stuff has been removed??
I fully expected to have extra stuff to sell and make up for the money i spent on shipping. even if i can't use the wirelimb a 5sfe wirelimb is something that plenty of people need.
i can see from the posts on the Forum that he has been trying to sell this thing for more than a Year.
he wanted $200 for the Motor Including Everything, and another $100 for the injen intake. and I paid a total of $650 for the motor and shipping. even though I had priced the shipping myself for about $275 for a class 70(engine) that weighed 430 lbs.
he's trying to say he took the other stuff off to save on shipping, but the freaking brand new alternator weighs 5 lbs. come on.
"Bump... Price lowered... Extremely good deal... The alternator alone is worth the price... "
this is what my Injen intake looked like when i got it
the wire that strapped the motor to the pallet was tightened right across it.
and this is the pic from his add
I sent him these pics through FB the day i got the motor, and texted him a couple of times. and he just blew me off.
He insisted that I write him a check "because getting his money through paypal takes too long." but it was not until after my check cleared and I asked him for the tracking number that he told me that the motor was actually not in his possession and I would have to wait a while more for him to send a check to cover shipping to his friend who had the motor.
and after 2 weeks of waiting and trying to be polite and not bug him every two minutes, He finally replied that they had shipped the motor. but when I asked for the tracking number he said they didnt give him one yet. and the next day he didnt reply to my text when I again asked him for the tracking number or freight bill. the next day I called FedEx myself and asked them to look it up just based on the destination address. They told me it was already there and they had been waiting on me to call and set up an appointment for delivery.
I was dissapointed that he removed the wirelimb, but removing the throttle-body and brand new alternator is complete BS.
and on FB he's trying to say that he gave me the motor for $150 and everything else was shipping.
