Bitter
So some newcelica members have been boned by Dan aka Japukspares recently. Someone spoke with paypal and if there's enough complaints about one seller they'll look into it upto 180 days out.

I just got off the phone with my bud at paypal. He said make sure you put in a dispute if its in between the 180 days if its past that call and give them his email address. If ppl do this the fraud department will look into it and it will show he is/has screwed ppl out of parts.

So while it may not help you it could help someone else.

I hate when this **** happens, and it happens far too often. It's why I'll only buy and sell through private eBay listings, that way everyone is protected and it encourages honesty.

You don't have to reply to every single thread on the forum with a general reply. kindasad.gif
I've been dealing with sells on this forum for years, people have been happy sending me money both ways paypal offers, no complains. And sometimes the orders are big.

I was too screwed from JapUK, but got my money back after few months of asking.
Simple - don't trust someone? Don't send them money as gift, if your shet is not delivered within a time limit, paypal claim it!

It was advice for others. Unless you're meeting up in person do it through eBay, especially if that member is new or isn't active or both.

And what do you have to say about all the people selling in Buying/Selling and doing it through PM's and straight PayPal transactions... ?
Please

I'd take this on a case by case basis.
If the member is relatively new, and is only here to sell things, i'd be a little skeptikal.
Usually you can tell who's been around for a while, and who isn't here just to make money, but more to help the community.
Sometimes paying the couple dollar paypal fee is worth it to save your ass.

Won't name names but a certain longtime user ended up screwing people out of hundreds through PayPal. It happened on another forum and the guy was a supposed business that screwed thousands out of people through PayPal. Yes the same can technically happen through eBay too, but it's much less likely between the added protection and feedback system.

That is all I was saying. Why you got your knickers in a twist is beyond me.
