a lot of reading, and reading. we cant tell you how to wire it. either you pay, or you read. if you have never wired a engine harness before, think twice before attempting to do this.

read several members threads in here, do a search, im tired of doing these searches for new members.

going to a 2nd gen will require a lot more wiring. Its not just drop in and go. the 2nd gen harness doesnt have the same wire paths as the 6th gen or ST205.

I've done a 2nd gen harness before.
The basic idea is that you will take the 3sgte harness, and convert it to use the st204 fuse box, 3rd ecu plug, and the 3 interior plugs that interface the engine with the ignition system, gauge cluster, etc..

In order to do this correctly, you will need the Toyota wiring books for both the st185 and the st204. Then basically figure out how to convert each pin on the st185 harness, to the st204 plugs.
It sounds simple, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done.

There are people on here that offer such a wiring service, and for a few hundred bucks its actually worth paying to have it done as it does take a lot of effort.
