Thanks I checked the bat. it's like a safety switch or something because it was spinning and then stopped

jim
any one know how to check the safety switch on the clutch on my 1994 celica
Box
You can pull the connector off the switch and jumper it with a piece of wire.
jim
that was not it I bypassed the clutch switch

also it keeps popping the am2 fuse
Box
You have a short in the ignition system somewhere then if it keeps blowing the AM2 fuse.

ok guys that was it my resistor is bad. So I changed it started it up and the coil went bad ? this is the fourth coil in three years ant one know why they would go bad so often
Box
Have you ever replaced the ignition coil cable? A bad cable can cause too much strain on the coil and burn it out.
