Hi I'm new too and I've been posting replies to ask questions, is there anyways my posts can be released or do I have to type them again? Thanks in advance.

Please don't make duplicate posts, that makes more work for me. laugh.gif It seems like you noticed the thread right below this one so I'm sure this is not new information to you but it never hurts to post this information in more places:

New forums members are part of a "trial" group whose posts are kept invisible until moderator approved as part of spambot control. After a certain number of approved posts, you will be promoted to a full member with full posting privileges, although the number seems to vary. I check each forum section twice daily to see if there are any pending posts but posts in old threads (such as your first three posts) won't show up and I have to manually search for them, which is why I didn't see them until you posted this thread. For any issues with your posts not showing up after a certain period of time, don't hesitate to message myself, Rusty, or presure2 and we can get it taken care of for you. thumbsup.gif

I found your posts and got them approved before making my way down to your thread. Sometimes it just takes me a little bit of time to get back on the forum but I will always approve posts as soon as I see them. Rusty and presure2 aren't all that active anymore so probably best just to send me a message if one of your posts is taking a little bit to show up.

I still say we need to setup a "new member thread" so they can throw down all their posts there and you can zip through it approving them to get them to where you don't have to approve them anymore.

I think that's what's been turning off any new members we do happen to get, I know it'd irk me.

Hi again, I sent richee3 (Daniel) a PM asking why my posts wasn't showing up, sorry didn't mean to be a pain. So I guess all posts needs to be approved, or will they be approved after having posted a few more "trustworthy" posts? In the meantime I'm lurking in the background but will ask questions and/or help out where I can, if I can.
Bitter
An announcement at the top of the forum or something when they sign up or even an automated PM the first time they log in would all be good ways to handle making sure new members know about this, and all ways I've been made aware on other forums.
