My name is Mike and I've had my 94 GT since 1999. I bought it with 100,000 miles on it. Now it has over 270,000 miles and it's still going strong...

Celica Information

Performance

No Mods, but I must say this: I bought the car 8 years ago when I was in college, and it had 100,000 miles on it (normal 5SFE engine). It now has over 270,000 miles on it and still no problems. All I do is change the oil every three thousand, and swap the timing belt and water pump every 60,000. Gotta love Toyota engineering!

Suspension

KYB struts, and new boots, mounts, etc.

Exterior

7th Gen GTS 16" rims. Kumho Ecsta ASX tires
205 50R16
30% tint on all windows.

Interior

I like to keep things stock with only a few exceptions. My shift knob was looking pretty worn down, so I found a good replacement without going through the dealer (ouch!) It's made by B&M and the stock number is 80744. You should be able to find it online for as little as 19.99 and as expensive as 39.99. I haggled the local mod store down to 25 bucks when I showed him the online deals. Anyways, in order to make it fit, you'll have to follow the instructions at this link: http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/shiftknob.htm

Changed Gauge cluster to blue lights, but I couldn't see them well at night so I switched back to green

More Info

If you need replacement green bulbs (those little covers tend to tear after so many years of being lit up) APC makes green 194 bulbs that I found at AutoZone. I was skeptical, though since the blue ones made by APC weren't bright enough, so I also found some green 194 bulb covers manufactured by PILOT at AutoZone, and those are pretty good (1.50 a pair + a couple bucks for some long life Sylvania White Bulbs). They are only slightly dimmer than stock (I doubt you'd notice unless you still have one stock bulb in like I do). Dealer wanted six bucks a bulb including the green cover, so this is much cheaper.
