Hi, I'm new here smile.gif

Glad I found this site as there seems to be much more info on here than on some of the other Celica forums I've visited.

I have a '96 SS-II with SuperStrut, LSD & 2-pot brakes (and the Recaro SR interior biggrin.gif ). The drivers side front brake hose is damaged and needs replacing. It's the part that goes from the banjo at caliper to the hard pipe on the strut.

Trouble I have is that in the UK, even if you tell a parts factor that it's an import version and so has different suspension, brakes, etc they still quote you parts from a UK GT. So for other stuff I've needed in the past for suspension I've just said it's a ST205 GT4, and I get the right parts.

Trouble is, obviosuly the caliper is different. Will the GT4 hose fit? Looking at the size of the GT4 caliper, I'm wondering if the banjo bolts on higher up and so the hose could be too short?

Failing that I could try Toyota direct with a chassis number, but I was hoping to try to source one today locally.

Hope someone can help smile.gif
