QUOTE (95CelicaST @ Aug 19, 2009 - 5:29 PM) *
I went on Forza's site and peeked at it in the galleries - and it's (supposedly) a 1999 GT-Four.

I would post the picture, but it's a hassle to do that on a cell phone.

It is weird, forza motorsports.net lists this description, but the picture is described as a 1999 celica gt-4, hopefully they get it right by its release. Heres the description and picture.

"1994 Celica GT-Four ST205

Jump a decade down the road and the Celica and Supra have gone their own separate ways. This Celica has plenty of racing heritage to draw upon and may be one of the biggest sleepers in Forza 3. The Celica GT-Four took WRC driver’s titles in ‘92, ‘93 and ’94. The 1994 Celica GT-Four ST205 puts all that experience on the street. It features a turbocharged and intercooled 3S-GTE four cylinder, rated at 225 horsepower, all-wheel drive, lightweight aluminum body parts and the heart of a champion."

Ok so i don't know if yall are looking forward to forza 3, but they just announced that their will be a 94 3sgte powered gt4 in the game. Forza is one of the most amazing and realistic racing games ever so it should be fun. Also new to forza 3 is a drag and drift mode. I was excited to hear about the gt4 being included and i figured yal would too.

OKay, so I do have some money that I want to spend/invest in my 94 gt, how much do you think it'll run to have a mechnic put them in. Here's what I've found so far
$ 500-600 for the cams,
$ 150-250 in special parts and shims, and

$ how much??? in mechanic fees/installation,

Anyone got a rough estimate

My short ram sounded like a weed-eater and actually, it sounds pretty awesome, but I'm sold on this one.

any comparisons on what this setup sounds like?

I browsed this section of 6cg for some info on webcams ... but no luck, I also checked out mr2oc.com but couldnt find what I'm looking for.

I would like to know what kind of power gains I could get by sending in my cams, or some i bought off another car. I am definately sticking with n/a because I dont have much experience with working on cars other than basic maintenance(and what I read on here, haha) I read one post about a month ago on the topic and it said something in the ballpark of 20 hp could be gained, it sounds great. My brother brother said that it could take as long as months to get the cams processed. Anyone know more about this process than I do? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading

OKay, I've been looking for something like this for my 94 celica gt. One question though. . . where does the filter end up??? And how does it fit in? Yesterday I put my stock box in, and my short ram out(just for a change) and it takes a lot of work to get things adjusted in there. Could someone please describe (not in huge detail) the installation??? Any problem areas?

I would love to get one but I want to know more about it first smile.gif Thanks

I am having the same problem, yeah theres kind of a styling issue with coupes...but on my celica gt the previous owner put the stock hatchback spoiler on my coupe...I have also been looking into getting some taillights, but again, its kind of the same issue...I am going to be checking up on this post frequently.

As to help you with your question, the spoiler fits pretty badly...its held on with 3 screws and has a gap at the base between trunk and spoiler. It isnt very snug fitting...then again it is not ike its about to fall off or anything, it looks okay but I am aso searching for a new spoiler, ONE THAT WILL FIT!!

Hey I've got a 94 Gt with custom Cai and stock ECU so its basically stock. I recently found a dyno tuning shop locally and I have some questions about how it can help my car preform. Is it even possible to tune a car with stock ECU with no piggyback tuner? If so I wonder how much HP coud be gained with stock ECU? Maybe 5-10? Also Eventually I want to get the Webcams 294 regrind on my cams. After that mod would a dyno tuning session be worthwhile on stock ECU or do I need a emanage, safc, or equivalent to tune at all? Thanks for the help

Well I replaced the gauge cluster with a new one and it is still off. I used a GPS and it is off sometimes by 20mph sometimes ony 5mph. Weird I guess I need to learn how to fix a speedometer gear. Does anyone have experience with the speedometer gear or is that a job for a professional mechanic.

What is a speedometer gear? I will try to remove the needle, hopefully that will fix the problem.

Well I have had my 94 celica gt automatic coupe and I am trying to do some research to learn more about it. Well on how stuff works.com it lists... Verts at 2755 bs Coupes at 2395lbs and Hatchbacks at 2415lbs. These weights seem very light compared to other similar cars, but it is good for performace. Anyways I assume these weights are with the 1.8 engine so they are lighter than mine. Does anyone have the real numbers.

If I switched speedometers from a junyard one that would only show the mileage on the junyard speedometer and not the original mileage on my car, right? I would like to avoid this. Is there any other way to fix this problem?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I think that the rest of the gauges work properly. I guess I need to go jukyard shopping and replace it. Is there very much wiring required to replace gauges?

Yeah, it is really weird how it is off different on different days, but it deffinately is. Actually I have a stock gauge face and cluster, but the car is used so maybe it was messed with. Is it difficult to swap a new gauge cluster in?
