alrighty, because of certain matters, i am selling my celica
i wont part it out, you must buy the whole car if you want it
the engine runs fine, it has a new clutch
but for some reason it wont move, i suspect the cv axles
but its a little more complicated
so pm if your interested, and i can give you the full story
and details

it just needs someone to look at it, and figure out the problem
im just tired of working on it, ive been paying insurance on a car that doesnt run, and i havent gotten to drive it in a month now, and im ready to move on to somethign else anyway
im looking for around 1900 for the car
kelly bluebook is like 2800 i think, but since mines noit working, and has a dent or two
and writing on the interior (friends did it when i was passed out... i got pretty pissed)

haha yea thanks
it nothing against the celica
for being only 19 years old, ive gone through quite a few cars
and the celica was one of the better ones
i think mine just has some sort of vendetta or something against me, which would make sense
( we all know celicas are very vengeful creatures)
haha

no dude, sorry but it doesnt
i know they have different trannys
i just dont know what tranny i have either,
the tranny in my car has been replaced at one point, by what tranny, i dont know

i know for a fact that my car was rebuilt (says it on the title)
not just like, modded, or suped up
but like they took two car halves, and put them together
well thats explaining it simply
dont worry, i know its not as simeple as putting two halves together

anyway, what im saying is this
this car was wrecked, severely, and they put it bacc together.... from other cars,
so.... is possible they used a gt tranny, and engine
which, they didnt, but its possible lol

and no, the "k" isnt stucc on my keyboard
i just refuse to use the letters "c" and "k" in that order
lol, yea its ridiculous, but i have my reasons
a few of you may know why
i use double c's instead of ck
and every chance i get
i use BK
haha, if you dont get it, dont worry about it

mine has about 180k miles on it
and everything started breaking down a few weeks ago
lol im in the process of replacing a few things
in the last two weeks alone i have bought:
new front cv axles
new clutch
new brake master cylinder
new ball joints
new water pump

yea, and im still not done, a few more things and it should be like new
i bought a prelude one time for what i thought was a good deal
the day after i bought it, it started falling apart
the bumper actually came off while i was driving home the next day
all the ball joints had to be replaced
along with all the brakes, new rotors all around
i ended up spending a couple hundred restoring it
after i was done tho it was an awsome little car
until some bitch hit me going 80 mph
then blamed me for the accident
the overall message is this:
if YOU put all the hours of work into it, then YOU will enjoy it more than anyone else would

just an update
so my engine unfortunately is a 7a-fe
good news is the axle works great
noise is gone from that side
handles perfectly
but bad news is this:
because of my lucc, another completely unrelated problem has arose
i need a new brake master cylinder
alas, i thought my car would be ready tonight
after three weeks of different stuff going wrong
one more has come up
haha, im in a good mood tonight tho
so i suppose i will just order a new master cylinder tomorrow morning

and to answer the question about making an axle
i didnt exactly MAKE one
my old one was the perfect length, so i measure it
and cut out a precise lenght from the shaft
then i put it into the middle of the new axle i had bought ( which before i worked on it was significantly shorter)
at my shop we have machinery and tools that helped me to make sure the shaft was kept perfectly straight
and i welded it myself, so im sure it will hold

its not exactly the smartest idea but i really had no other option
im still unaware of what tranny is in my car
so i couldnt find the right one
and my method was really a last resort

well it was wrecked at one point
i figured that much out
my guess is they needed a new engine, and the 5s was handy
because im pretty sure they weren going for performance
just trying to get it running

well the guys who owns the shop its in isnt coming to his shop today
so i cant try comparing pics
or figuring which engine i have.

im just having alot of problems because i dont know what engine and tranny i have
the main problem im having right now are my cv axles arent matching up to anything celica
so im just going to take the new one, and extend it to the lenght of the old one
everything else on the axle is the same, splin count, diameter, etc..
and im tired of waiting on my car to be fixed
tonight.... i make my own cv axle
everyone keep your fingers crossed
